Boomer Update

Here is an update from Natalie. Enjoy!…

“Hi Kristy,

I’m writing to give you a quick update about Boomer. He’s the sable & white male from Molly and Buster’s litter last year on March 31, 2012. At almost 1, he weighs about 26lbs and enjoys fruits and vegetables with his dry kibbles! He loves apples, pears, blueberries, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots. He’s doing wonderful and is such a joy to my family! He likes to play with my 11 & 8 yr old sons and wants to be included in their games. He loves to snuggle in bed and will lay beside me on the sofa throughout a movie. Each time we give him a pressed bone, he would look for a place to hide it. Are Cavachons fond of digging in the dirt? We’ve trained him to fetch the newspapers from the bottom of our driveway…attached is a photo of him taken today, chilling out and enjoying a cool breeze on the deck. 🙂 Thank you so much for Boomer. He’s such a GREAT dog and makes us laugh a lot!

Best regards,
Natalie S.”

Gracie Update

Another update! I love getting these emails!

Hi Kristy,

Lisa G. here- I have little Gracie from Lilly and Skippy’s litter of May 15/16?, 2010. I think it was the 15th, but not sure…Gracie is such an amazing companion and best friend- she is incredibly smart, and loves learning new tricks!

We recently traveled to Ohio, and she flew with me under my seat- what a trooper she is. She loved the snow, and my mom’s 2 cats! Interesting to note—she never wanted anything to do with the soft sided crate I picked her up with in August of 2010 when I met you at the Spokane airport- so I decided to buy a new one, and within 3 minutes I had clicker trained her to “get in the box”, and she was ready to go.

Here she is in supermodel mode in her new sweater!

One day, I hope to have another- I’d love a little girl her size- she is still a slim and fit 10.25-10.5 pounds. Keep me posted on any Lilly and Skippy breeding plans…..

Hope you are enjoying your new home, and all is well!

Blessings,

Lisa and Gracie

Redford Update

Love hearing from our puppy owners! Here is an update for “Redford”, a blond male from Aspen’s litter.

Hi Kristy!
I just wanted to give you a little update on our little guy, Redford. He is almost 7 months now, and 13 pounds! He is a ball of energy and I don’t know what I did with myself before we got him 🙂 We are so glad we found you and Redford – he brings us so much happiness! I hope Silver Paw Kennels is doing well!

He is just adorable and looks to be staying fairly small!

Update on Bella

Here is an update on “Bella” from Lilly & Colby’s October 2012 litter!

Hi Kristy. Hope your family is doing well. Thought I would drop you a quick update on Bella (Lilly and Colby’s Oct litter). This must be the easiest puppy transition ever! She has slept from 9:30 until 6 since her first week with us! Crate training has been a breeze, and she has been ringing the bell to go outside for the past week! She is the perfect blend of playful and snuggler! She loves the kids and playing with her Schnoodle pal across the street. Don’t know what we did without her:)…

She is scheduled for spay, microchip, and hernia repair in March.  At 15 weeks she weighed 4lb 11oz. The vet does want me to ask you the height and weight of her parents. I know you are busy, but if you have a second we would love to have that info. Bella is Dr. Snyder’s first Cavachon patient! King Charles Spaniels are her favorite dogs, so she is very interested in our Bella…

We love our Bella, so thank you again:)

This was the tiny, tiny female from Lilly’s litter.  She shipped all the way to North Carolina and did fine on the plane!  She will probably stay under 10 lbs as an adult, which is a lot smaller than our normal 13-19 lb dogs that our Cavachons generally grow into.  Can’t wait to hear how she progresses in size!

Update on Tucker

Love hearing from our extended SPK families!! Here is an update on our “Gone With the Wind” litter from Maggie & Ricky! There were 6 puppies in this very colorful litter. I’d love to hear from the others as well!

Hi Kristy –

Just a little update on Tucker (Ashley from Maggie & Ricky’s June 7th litter). He is doing great! He is almost 7 months and just before 6 months he was about 13 pounds. He seems to have grown a lot in the last month though.

He is such a great dog. Everyone loves him. He is very playful with a lot of energy, but he also loves to curl up next to anyone who will let him. We love that he is energetic and fun when we want him to be and nice and calm at times too.

Here are a couple pictures after Tucker’s recent grooming (his first full hair cut) so you can see his coloring.

Hope you and all the new puppies are doing well.
Happy New Year to you and your family!

Update on Sophie

Another happy owner just sent me an update on their beloved Cavachon! Enjoy!

“Hi Kristy,

Just an update on our cute Sophie who we have had for a year now. She is 20 lbs and holding and full of energy and fun. I don’t think she has met a dog or a child that she doesn’t like although some of the older dogs might not be so keen on her playfulness. She is a chewer, however, so we keep the Kong and Nylabone people in business. It is amazing how good she is with our grandsons and they love her too (as you can see in the photos) except when she eats their Legos. I would recommend a Cavachon to anyone who is looking for a sweet tempered pet. I can’t count the number of complements I get on her wherever we go.

Update on Chip

Here is an update on the solid sable male from Aspen’s litter. What a cute pair!!

“Hi Kristy,
Wanted to give you an update on Chip, who will be 10 weeks old tomorrow. Chip is doing so well. He has adjusted to our home, and is very happy. We are already in love with our little Cavachon. He is exactly what we were looking for. Thank you for helping to match us up with the puppy of our dreams. We are so thankful for him!
