Colorado and Puppy Availability Update

Hi Everyone,

After speaking with several families, we did find a forever home for our adventure traveler puppy that found himself accidentally in Colorado!

Brothers

Do we get a pass for mixing them up?? Puppy on the right traveled when it should have been puppy on the left.

It’s almost like he’s saying, “No, I was the one who should have traveled!”

But traveler puppy is settling in and getting to know all his new family members!

Two of the three children in the family!
He also has a new big sister!
What a trooper with all his traveling!

A big shout out to Susan and Don, who received him and lovingly fostered him while we found him his forever home. Her actual puppy will head to CO tomorrow to begin his adventure.

Today, the last Dutchess girl is going home.

And two families will be looking at the golden puppies from the Mercedes litter. They are 10 weeks old and all ready for their new homes!

We have had a lot of people show interest in the solid sable puppy but nobody has committed yet. We also still have both golden girls available. I think we are down to the last three puppies from this litter of eight, though none have left the property yet!

It’s crazy puppy town around here right now, though after tomorrow we will have just the Mercedes eight.

Happy Autumn!!

Three or Four Available Puppies

Hi Everyone!

The Penny puppies have started going home. There are still three boys and one pending female available (pretty sure she will be going home on Sunday).

These puppies have such good temperaments, they are happy, bouncy, and playful and fun! They’ve got great color, nice coats, current on vaccinations and worming, and they are ready to go now!

Give us a call if you’re looking for a puppy!! 509-936-2715

Golden boy

Such regal puppies!! They are currently nine weeks old, mostly litter-box trained, and have some crate experience. They are all bundles of laughs and fun!!

Their siblings have already gone home!

Blenheim female – This is their 2nd Silver Paw Cavachon!!
Golden Female – This golden girl totally chose them!! What a doll!
Golden male – This is their 3rd Cavachon from us!! Love when people come back for more love!!

Beautiful Bunty

Today is Bunty’s 4th birhday, Bastille Day. Her mom was Kenzie and her dad was Kingsley. She is 11 lbs. and almost entirely black with a white soul patch, a small white patch on her breast and a few white toes. What an unbelievably loving and lovable companion she has been! I waited a long time to get a small black puppy and was rewarded with Bunty. She loves everyone and wants to say hello to people and other dogs when we walk, but is easily contained if that’s not a good idea. She especially likes to chase balls (still not quite ready to “leave them” everytime) and to sleep on my lap when she gets tired. She and kitty get along famously. She sleeps with me and usually ends up under the covers before dawn (my choice — I could have trained he to sleep in a crate). She is a joy!

Love those black beauties. We only get solid black pups 1-2 times per year, so it’s definitely a more rare color. Kenzie, her mama, has been retired because she struggled during birth both times she had puppies. She is living a happy life with a family, walks, and cozy beds and treats!

“Sisters”

Bella and Daisy aren’t actually sisters, but they are close enough. With just three months separating their birthdays (late 2018 & early 2019), they seems to be like two peas in a pod.

I couldn’t resist sharing this adorable photo of them with their tongues sticking out!

Also, if you’re wondering about their colors, the dog on the left is an adult solid sable and the right is a blenheim.

If you’d like to share your Silver Paw Cavachon on the blog, send an update with a bit of info (please include parents and birthday if possible) and some photos and I’d be happy to post here on the blog. It’s so fun to hear what the dogs can do now and how they have become part of the family.

OBI

I love getting updates!! This is one of the Olivia pups. He is settling in so nicely!!

“Obi had his last puppy vaccinations yesterday and I had him microchipped. He did great! Today we went for another longer walk in the woods and got caught in the rain. Came home, got dried off and now he is playing with his food puzzle. “

What a cutie!!

Solid Sable Female Sadie

I love getting updates from past puppy buyers. Here is Sadie, a solid sable female from 3 years ago!!

“We adopted a Rocky and Roxie pup three years ago in June; she was the solid sable female and the only one left in her litter. We named her Sadie, and she came to us in San Jose, via airplane, on June 15, 2015.

She is the light of our lives and we ADORE her! We hope to adopt another puppy from you in a few years when Sadie is older. We want them to be spaced apart enough that we don’t have them pass on at an old age at the same time. Sadie sleeps on our beds, sits next to us on all the couches, and is the sweetest dog we could ask for. She is smart and has learned many commands. Our daughters, now 12 and 14, are her best buddies.

All of us love the videos you post of your pups! They make our day.

Hope all is well, A & family”

As you can see the solid sable does lighten up, but they usually keep a bit of black on their ears. We are excited to be expecting another Roxy and Rocky litter this month!!

Puppies Heading Home!!

Summer is in full swing and the last pups from the spring litters are heading home now.

I love meeting the families and seeing the moment when they first see their puppies!  It’s fun to see how the puppies react as well.

Here are the most recent puppies that have gone home!

This munchkin “Snickers” flew with his family to the Bay Area today.  He was giving me the side eye while we were driving in my hot car to the airport today. He was a surprise for the 12 year old daughter, and the video they shared brought me to tears. I hope I can figure out how to post it here because it’s priceless!!

This pup also went home today. His family came down from Canada and I think he’s going to be a perfect fit for all those teen boys. He is a bundle of personality and I think he will keep everyone on their toes!

These two puppies went to Montana and I was able to hand deliver them!!

I trust things are going well for everyone!  We have 4 more puppies here that will he going home in the coming weeks.

We also have 2 new litter and more pregnant mamas, so now is an excellent time to get on the waiting list!!

Send us an email at silverpawcavachons@gmail.com for info about our puppies!!

Puppy Update – Roger

Love getting these email updates!

He is doing great, he is very energetic and quite well behaved in terms of eliminating (minus a couple of accidents which I would not blame him for 🙂 ). You did a really good job with him: he is a very happy puppy, socializes well with people – we are quite impressed with him overall (might be because he is our first puppy as well).
I thought this would bring you a smile 🙂

Little Roger went to a daycare and had a great time with other puppies, and had a bit of pee accident that resulted in him getting a bath and bow tie 🙂

My wife keeps saying how lucky we are with Roger (the way he behaves, how friendly he is with people and other dogs, etc.), and that is not only because of his character, you had a huge contribution to all that, and we want to thank you again for littler Roger!

Best Dog Ever – Shadow

I was going through emails and found this beautiful testament and wanted to share with all of you!

Hi, Kristy,
You do not know how difficult it was for me not to have you send one of the sable boys with Shadow today. The livelier of the two sable boys stole my heart weeks ago. I am smart enough to know it will be better to get them a couple years apart, so at some point I came to my senses, but can’t stop thinking of how cute they’d be together.

No matter what, you can count on a repeat customer at some point down the road when I want to get a little brother for Shadow. In the meantime, I will have so much fun training him and taking him everywhere we go.

Shadow is such a doll. He fits right in.

Thank you, Kristy, for the very professional way you run your business. I have known many breeders and you really stand head and shoulders above the rest. It was a pleasure working with you, and I do hope to do work with you again when it is time for Shadow to get a little brother.

Warmest regards,

Laurie
