We have puppies that will be ready to go home in a few weeks. Two have been matched (the larger solid sable male and one of the blenheim males, which will be finalized this weekend), which means there are three puppies still available. Please reach out if you’re interested in a puppy. This is Scarlett’s last litter as we plan to retire her. She has been a wonderful mama!!
I expect these pups to range from 14-18 lbs as adults. There is one girl and four boys. They are currently six weeks old.

This is our last litter until summer. We also plan to downsize which means we will have fewer litters moving forward.
Whew! It’s been two months since I’ve done a blog post. A lot has been happening in my personal life, besides Thanksgiving, our 31st wedding anniversary, my mom’s birthday, my sons birthday, Christmas, knee replacement surgery for my mom, bumped up three weeks early, her recovery, and my sister being in and out of the hospital twice with bronchitis, asthma, and pneumonia, Scarlett had puppies on January 1st!! I’ve been busy.
We currently have ten puppies on the property, nine looking for new homes. I’ll share pictures of the four older puppies in another post, but want to focus on the Scarlett litter for this post.
There are five puppies born on New Year’s Day, one girl and four boys. They will be eight weeks old February 26th and ready for their new ho es that week. We are not able to do an accelerated puppy from this litter as I am heading to Europe over spring break and really need the puppies home before I leave mid March.

These will likely be our last puppies until next spring simply because we are not seeing enough demand for puppies to keep breeding through the winter.

We have two blenheim male puppies available and ready to go home now. There is no waiting list for these boys.
First is “Flame” from Scarlett’s litter. He is 13 weeks old, rambunctious, energetic, yet submissive and sweet. He will do well in an active household and would probably love to join a pack of one or two dogs plus family members.
Next is “Phantom” from the Emily litter. He is 11 weeks old and is a more quiet and laid back puppy. He is thoughtful in his interactions and a real heart warmer.
Then we have the two black males from the Mimi litter. They are seven weeks old and will be ready to go home next weekend. Black is very hard to photograph, but let me just say their coats are a silky, deep shiny velvet black color and both have a bit of white on their chests. Their eyes are shiny black as well. These two boys will be smaller, ranging from 10-15 lbs as adults. This is a rare Cavachon color that we only see once every few years.

We’ve been busy sending the Scarlett and Emily puppies to their new homes! We have one puppy still available from each of those litters, Marshmallow from the Scarlett litter, and Phantom from the Emily litter.

We have another litter that is now five weeks old and we are taking names for these puppies. They are the crew from Mimi, a small Bichon Frise! Dad is a black/tan Cavalier and we got all the rarest colors in this litter!

Here’s a Pupdate from the Missy litter. This boy flew down to CA with me on July 11th. He was a perfect traveler and it sounds like he’s adjusting well!!
Hi Kristy, What an amazing addition to our family. Tommy has definitely “wiggled “ his way into our hearts lol! He’s doing really well. You can definitely tell the amount of time and effort that you guys put into this! We thank you so much for our sweet little boy! He has been comfortable in his crate since day one and he’s doing pretty well with potty training, after all he’s just a baby lol.. the snuggle puppy is a must and giving us one from you with all the smells Wow, so smart!! I saw your message that Dash’s sister, Scarlett, just had another litter and realized that I’m way overdue in sending you an update on how our new puppy, Bodhi, is doing. He is from Penny and Big Boy’s December 2021 litter and is about twice the size as our first Cavachon, Dash (formerly known as Rhett). He is just over 33 pounds, athletic, boisterous, talkative, impossible to ignore, and an all-around lovable rogue. He is obsessed with playing fetch, loves doing tricks for treats, and gives the best hugs and snuggles.
We worried initially that Dash, who is 11 years old now, wouldn’t enjoy having a puppy around but Dash accepted him right away. Though they have completely opposite personalities, they are buddies and do not like being separated. Our older dog, who is quite the proper gentleman, lets us know when Bodhi is being naughty and Bodhi does his best to make sure that Dash gets his exercise in every day, enticing him into post-meal wrestling sessions and frequent squirrel chases in our backyard. They are a perfect pair. Their antics keep us entertained and we are so glad to have them both.

Just in case you’re not following us on Instagram (@silverpawcavachons…and you should be!!), here’s what is happening over there today.
We’ve named the Scarlett puppies! Smokey got his name first and we just took his lead and gave everyone campfire names!
We did official photos yesterday and there is a roll call video of them on IG.
This was the smallest puppy in the litter. We helped him along for a bit with supplemental feeding. He’s eating solid food and holding his own with the crowd. He has a tighter curl in his coat. Solid Sable, but a Smokey, grey/brown color. Adorable little pup with a typical Cavachon coat. Solid Sable, nice carmel brown color. Playful and sweet!Most outgoing puppy in the litter. Bounds into your lap. Wants to meet everyone! Blenheim, curly coat. Sweet golden girl, curly looking golden coat. She has a small white star on her head!Small like her brother Smokey. Very light golden cream color. Typical Cavachon coat. Friendly and playful!This is the girlie with the kiss spot on her head. Dark sable brown color, curly coat. Playful and fun little girl. Scarlett’s puppies are really interacting with each other and playing hard, then sleeping well!! They will be ready to go home August 15th.
Emily’s litter also got their names. One puppy has a phantom face, meaning his apricot patch covers an entire side of his face. I knew he had to be the Phantom, so then looked up the other characters from the Musical and found all the boy names! We haven’t quite assigned their names yet, except for Phantom, but we will as soon as I can tell them all apart!! Right now they look pretty similar!
The timing works out for me to bring puppies to CA in September if there is anyone down there wanting a puppy delivered. Space is limited so reach out soon if you’re interested.

Hi Kristy , Bean is settling right in ! And Mack’s tail is almost always wagging 🙂 . He can’t quite understand why she gets food and toys that he doesn’t . So ultimately he gets all the toys 😂. She is a doll ! Sleeps 8 hours ,uses her litter pad 99.9% of the time , And is a busy little thing . I luf her ❤️!

Emily’s litter is almost three weeks old. They have just opened their eyes and they’re starting to toddle around on their legs.
Mimi, a small Bichon, is pregnant with Duke’s puppies (F1). They should be born by mid August.
I’m taking names for the Scarlett puppies until they are six weeks old on August 1st. We will begin puppy selection with them this coming week.
