If you’re getting your puppy next week YOU HAVE TO BUY A SNUGGLE PUPPY!! This is the best thing EVER!!
Look at little Autumn. She is in a completely new place and she is totally content curled up with Biscuit her buddy. His little heartbeat is turned on and it’s like she has a littermate still.
The transition from littermates to alone can be traumatic, but it is so much less stressful if your puppy has a Snuggle Puppy. I wish I had known about them the past 20 years!!
Daryl has four of these to sell or you can order them on Amazon. The smaller ones, Snuggle Puppy Junior are $25 and the larger one is about $39. This one here is a Junior one called Biscuit and there is a golden one and a black one in this smaller size.
Please let me know if you’d like to buy one from Daryl, first come first serve. Also let me know if you’ve already ordered one. I feel very strongly about the necessity of each puppy having one when they go home and I’d like to know that everyone has one ordered or is planning to get one from Daryl.
She has been so happy and so easy. My host family is just loving her to pieces!!
As some of you may have read, we are planning to take a break from breeding for a few months. We have two last litters, one that was born October 11, and one that is due October 27th.
These litters will be offered to those on our waiting list first, but our litter list will be open to anyone. If you would like to be added to the litter list for the Mimi and Duke puppies (the ones pictured here in this post), please send us an email at silverpawcavachons@gmail.com. Please specify which puppies you would be willing to give a home to and we will add your name for a specific pup or all four!!
This litter will be ready to go home December 6-12 and we are not available to “hold” or accelerate them for Christmas. We need them to go home during those dates, so please double check your timeline before putting your name on the list for this litter.
There are four puppies in the litter. The two golden puppies are females and the black/tan and blenheim puppies are males.
Mimi is doing a beautiful job raising them in our puppy room, right off the kitchen!
I’d like to do puppy selection on time for this litter, when they are five weeks old, so we will accept names for the litter until the second week of November. We will do puppy selection Sunday, November 13 so anyone flying in will have time to book a flight.
These puppies will not be able to ship in cargo due to the cold time of year and holiday season.
Some of you have expressed an interest in our upcoming litters, but I’ll need you to reach out to me via email and specifically request to be on the Mimi litter list, listing any and all puppies that you would consider. Please also provide a current phone number for me to use on puppy selection day.
Bella and Daisy aren’t actually sisters, but they are close enough. With just three months separating their birthdays (late 2018 & early 2019), they seems to be like two peas in a pod.
I couldn’t resist sharing this adorable photo of them with their tongues sticking out!
Also, if you’re wondering about their colors, the dog on the left is an adult solid sable and the right is a blenheim.
If you’d like to share your Silver Paw Cavachon on the blog, send an update with a bit of info (please include parents and birthday if possible) and some photos and I’d be happy to post here on the blog. It’s so fun to hear what the dogs can do now and how they have become part of the family.
We have just one more pup from Scarlett’s litter. She’s the light colored blenheim, almost more of a cream colored pup. She has her health certificate and can go anytime.
She’s friendly, loving, and has a very sweet nature. She’s happy and playful too and is ready for her forever home. She’s available to anyone on or not on the waiting list.
Ready for belly rubs! She’s on the far left here.
In other news, I’ve been pouring over the waiting list and have contacted almost everyone. I’ve discovered a LOT of people found puppies elsewhere which I’m very happy they didn’t have to wait, or they changed their mind and decided not to get a puppy. Now that I know this information I am able to remove their names and our waiting list went from 120 down to 80! Within the 80 that are still on the list I’ve actually spoken to/emailed/texted just 43 of them, so chances are high there will be others removed from the list.
This explains why I’ve been matching puppies to completely new people not on the list or people that were at the very end of the waiting list. If you have been a little apprehensive about getting on a waiting list with over 100 people, believe me, if you’re not waiting for a tri color or black and tan puppy, chances are your wait is definitely less than a year (probably less than six months) and there may be no wait at all.
As puppies are matched, I plan to cap the waiting list at 75 so it will open and close as new litters are born and matched to their families.
Also, when you are ready for a puppy, YOU NEED TO CONTACT ME!! I do not call everyone on the waiting list to ask if you’re interested (it would take days as people aren’t home, available, or take a while to respond). Simply reach out to me when you see a litter you like and the timing works into your schedule. If you’re on our waiting list, you will be prioritized in waiting list order. If you’re not on the waiting list, you will be added in the order that you contact me, after the waiting list families.
I think that’s it for now. We have new puppies that will be ready in July and I WILL be traveling to Sacramento when they are old enough to fly. I can bring two in the cabin with me July 20th. If that works into your timeline be sure to reach out about the Dutchess and Missy puppies below.
Here’s a sneak peek.
Dutchess Litter-L to R…Gold F, Gold F, Solid Sable F, Gold M, Solid Sable MMissy Litter-(all females)…L to R-sable/white, blenheim, gold, sable/white, gold, solid sable, blenheim.
Also, we will probably have more puppies available in September. That’s all for now!!
Tomorrow (Friday, April 22) is puppy matching day for the Mimi litter. There was a lot of interest in this litter and below is my call list.
I’ll begin the calls around 2pm and continue down the list until all of the puppies are matched. There are two black/white females, two black males, one black/white male, and a golden male.
I’ve listed what each person prefers so you should have a general idea of whether or not you might actually get a pup from this litter. One thing I know, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!!
Be sure you’re available to pick up your phone as I will call, and if you don’t answer, wait about 15 minutes, send a text and an email, and then try again. If you are still unavailable, I will then move on to the next person.
I really hope things will go very smoothly tomorrow and I won’t have to skip over anyone. My goal is to match all the puppies before 6pm.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I will only be discussing the puppies you selected on the litter form. We can try to FaceTime if you have an iPhone so you can see the puppies in action.
Just a quick note to let you know there are new videos on the Pearlie, Abbey, and Chantel pages. I’m planning to do a new video of the Sophia puppies tomorrow as well. I’ll probably sneak in another look at the Jesse pups and the last two Justyne pups too. It’s still super cold here. Next week it should get a little warmer, into the 30’s!! We are counting the days until springtime, green grass, and lots of warm sunshine!

Puppies are warm and cozy there.
We should have some new babies tonight.
Little Blenheim girlie from Penelope’s litter went home today. She will join a family as the second Silver Paw Cavachon. She’s quite the character and just a bundle of love and energy!!
