I love getting updates!! This is one of the Olivia pups. He is settling in so nicely!!
“Obi had his last puppy vaccinations yesterday and I had him microchipped. He did great! Today we went for another longer walk in the woods and got caught in the rain. Came home, got dried off and now he is playing with his food puzzle. “
This beautiful golden boy is still looking for a forever home. He is ready this weekend. He should be an average 15-20lbs as an adult. He is very friendly and loving, loves people, exploring, and finding new adventures.
We are going to the vet today with Mimi’s litter (11:30 pacific time) and we’d love to include him with the rest of the litter.
It’s likely that this post will generate a LOT of interest. The best way to make this happen, if you’re interested, is to give me a call. If I’m not able to pick up, I’ll call people back in the order I received calls. 509-936-2715
Tomorrow (Friday, April 22) is puppy matching day for the Mimi litter. There was a lot of interest in this litter and below is my call list.
I’ll begin the calls around 2pm and continue down the list until all of the puppies are matched. There are two black/white females, two black males, one black/white male, and a golden male.
I’ve listed what each person prefers so you should have a general idea of whether or not you might actually get a pup from this litter. One thing I know, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!!
Be sure you’re available to pick up your phone as I will call, and if you don’t answer, wait about 15 minutes, send a text and an email, and then try again. If you are still unavailable, I will then move on to the next person.
I really hope things will go very smoothly tomorrow and I won’t have to skip over anyone. My goal is to match all the puppies before 6pm.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I will only be discussing the puppies you selected on the litter form. We can try to FaceTime if you have an iPhone so you can see the puppies in action.
The Mimi puppies are now five weeks old and it’s time to begin our puppy selection for this litter. Here are some key detail to keep in mind. Please read through the whole blog post. If you still have questions, send an email to:
If you leave a question in the comments here I may or may not see it. I prefer email communication so everything stays in the same place.
This litter was born on March 10 and will be ready for new homes sometime between May 5-19. I’m leaving a wider range because these babies are small and may need to be a little older before going home.
There are six puppies: 2 black/white girls, 2 black boys, 1 black/white boy, 1 golden boy. The black/white pup on the right with more white on the back is the boy.
These puppies are not eligible to go into cargo on a plane because they are too small. Owners will need to drive or fly in to Spokane to pick them up in person. If you fly in, we will bring the puppy to the airport.
We expect these puppies to be from 12-16 lbs as adults. This is always a guesstimate but mom is one of our smallest Bichons and the puppies also seem on the smaller side.
Plan your pickup so it is not on a Saturday. We are not open on Saturdays.
To be considered for one of these puppies you will need to fill out the following form. It asks for your basic contact info, including the phone number you want me to use when/if I call you, waiting list number, town where you live (if puppies are going to the same place), and finally a list of preferences.
As you fill out the form (link below) you need to select every puppy that you would be willing to take home. I will only contact you about puppies you’ve selected, so if you’re open to both genders and all colors, just select every puppy.
If you are not on our waiting list you may choose any number after 150 as the form requires a waiting list number. We will consider you after talking to those who reached out and are on the waiting list. We will talk to people in waiting list order.
I plan to call people next Friday, April 22nd. I should start calling around 2pm.
Thank you for your interest in this litter. They are super cute and mom has been doing a great job raising them!!
I wanted to post the litter list for Scarlett’s litter. There are 8 puppies, 3 girls and 5 boys. I’ll post updated photos and video this coming weekend. They are currently 3.5 weeks old.
Please fill in this form if you are on the waiting list and would like to be considered for this litter. They will be ready to go home November 11-17. Like the last litter, we are not able to do accelerated puppy training during the school year. Please only consider this litter if you are able to travel here between November 11-17.
Also, this is an F1b litter. The mother, Scarlett, is a Cavachon bred back to a Bichon Frise. the puppies are technically 3/4 Bichon and 1/4 Cavalier. Some do have a tighter curl and some colors are more muted.
The waiting list has been updated with all of the recent deposits that we have received.
This is an older photo, but you can see their colors. The solid sable, one white, and the sable/white with the spot on her head are the female puppies. More pictures soon.
I am stunned! This is Dixie Mae Sprinkles. She is from Scarlett’s last litter, which was an F1b litter. Her family just spontaneously sent this update with these photos!
Just looking at precious Dilly and remembering it was only a few months ago we picked up our Scarlett baby, Dixie Mae Sprinkles.
I just wanted to reinforce what wonderful puppies Scarlett produces! Dixie is just an amazing 8 month old, very obedient, tries always to please and just the sweetest, most loving puppy anyone could ask for. She just watches every move we make and gives us that look that says she is trying to understand exactly what we are saying! If anything new is added she notices. It’s pretty amazing, but she inspects everything that is different in her world. We put plastic on the vents around the house and she noticed those and checked each one out! It’s like that with everything, she helps open every package we get, with much excitement! Did I say she is amazing? Everyone is in love with her, especially us.
For those not understanding the color changes, she was a very light sable and white baby and now is mostly all cream aside from a few strands of black on her ears and one strand on her tail!
Love this puppy!!
This was Dixie Mae as a pup.
I think she grew into an absolutely stunning adult!!
Sharon, thank you so much for sharing her photos with me!!!
I love getting updates from past puppy buyers. Here is Sadie, a solid sable female from 3 years ago!!
“We adopted a Rocky and Roxie pup three years ago in June; she was the solid sable female and the only one left in her litter. We named her Sadie, and she came to us in San Jose, via airplane, on June 15, 2015.
She is the light of our lives and we ADORE her! We hope to adopt another puppy from you in a few years when Sadie is older. We want them to be spaced apart enough that we don’t have them pass on at an old age at the same time. Sadie sleeps on our beds, sits next to us on all the couches, and is the sweetest dog we could ask for. She is smart and has learned many commands. Our daughters, now 12 and 14, are her best buddies.
All of us love the videos you post of your pups! They make our day.
Hope all is well, A & family”
As you can see the solid sable does lighten up, but they usually keep a bit of black on their ears. We are excited to be expecting another Roxy and Rocky litter this month!!
He is doing great, he is very energetic and quite well behaved in terms of eliminating (minus a couple of accidents which I would not blame him for 🙂 ). You did a really good job with him: he is a very happy puppy, socializes well with people – we are quite impressed with him overall (might be because he is our first puppy as well). I thought this would bring you a smile 🙂
Little Roger went to a daycare and had a great time with other puppies, and had a bit of pee accident that resulted in him getting a bath and bow tie 🙂
My wife keeps saying how lucky we are with Roger (the way he behaves, how friendly he is with people and other dogs, etc.), and that is not only because of his character, you had a huge contribution to all that, and we want to thank you again for littler Roger!
I was going through emails and found this beautiful testament and wanted to share with all of you!
Hi, Kristy, You do not know how difficult it was for me not to have you send one of the sable boys with Shadow today. The livelier of the two sable boys stole my heart weeks ago. I am smart enough to know it will be better to get them a couple years apart, so at some point I came to my senses, but can’t stop thinking of how cute they’d be together.
No matter what, you can count on a repeat customer at some point down the road when I want to get a little brother for Shadow. In the meantime, I will have so much fun training him and taking him everywhere we go.
Shadow is such a doll. He fits right in.
Thank you, Kristy, for the very professional way you run your business. I have known many breeders and you really stand head and shoulders above the rest. It was a pleasure working with you, and I do hope to do work with you again when it is time for Shadow to get a little brother.
