There is some confusion about the waiting list vs the email list. Let me explain:
The waiting list is the list of people that are serious about getting a puppy in the near or distant future. They have paid a fee to be on this list so they are prioritized in order when it’s time to choose a puppy. This list is on the sidebar of the website when you’re on a computer and at the bottom of the website when on a phone. There are currently 80 names on this list with a good chance that the number will go down once I’ve spoken with everyone (as mentioned in a previous post, I’m cleaning up my waiting list).
Then there is an email list. When on the website you are able to “subscribe” to the blog. This means you have typed in your email and every time I post on the blog, the blog post goes directly to your email. Some of you asked to be taken off this list. You can actually do that yourself. If you look at the very bottom of your email, you will see an option to unsubscribe. Simply click that link and follow the steps given.
I hope that clears things up. Reach out if you have questions and be sure you are subscribed to the website/blog if you don’t want to miss any details about what is happening at Silver Paw Cavachons!!
Hi Everyone,
We have just one more pup from Scarlett’s litter. She’s the light colored blenheim, almost more of a cream colored pup. She has her health certificate and can go anytime.
She’s friendly, loving, and has a very sweet nature. She’s happy and playful too and is ready for her forever home. She’s available to anyone on or not on the waiting list.
In other news, I’ve been pouring over the waiting list and have contacted almost everyone. I’ve discovered a LOT of people found puppies elsewhere which I’m very happy they didn’t have to wait, or they changed their mind and decided not to get a puppy. Now that I know this information I am able to remove their names and our waiting list went from 120 down to 80! Within the 80 that are still on the list I’ve actually spoken to/emailed/texted just 43 of them, so chances are high there will be others removed from the list.
This explains why I’ve been matching puppies to completely new people not on the list or people that were at the very end of the waiting list. If you have been a little apprehensive about getting on a waiting list with over 100 people, believe me, if you’re not waiting for a tri color or black and tan puppy, chances are your wait is definitely less than a year (probably less than six months) and there may be no wait at all.
As puppies are matched, I plan to cap the waiting list at 75 so it will open and close as new litters are born and matched to their families.
Also, when you are ready for a puppy, YOU NEED TO CONTACT ME!! I do not call everyone on the waiting list to ask if you’re interested (it would take days as people aren’t home, available, or take a while to respond). Simply reach out to me when you see a litter you like and the timing works into your schedule. If you’re on our waiting list, you will be prioritized in waiting list order. If you’re not on the waiting list, you will be added in the order that you contact me, after the waiting list families.
I think that’s it for now. We have new puppies that will be ready in July and I WILL be traveling to Sacramento when they are old enough to fly. I can bring two in the cabin with me July 20th. If that works into your timeline be sure to reach out about the Dutchess and Missy puppies below.
Here’s a sneak peek.
Also, we will probably have more puppies available in September. That’s all for now!!

Look what I found in my drafts folder! Time to finally publish it!!
So many people want small dogs, and they are definitely adorable, but I have to admit, I LOVE the BIG ones!
I asked my owners to send me pictures of their big Cavachons, those that grew to 18 lbs or more.
I think these dogs are simply regal and gorgeous!!
Sophia
Macy 29 lbs
Attached is a picture of Nikki from Ruby and Mosely’s June 2009 litter. She weighs 25 pounds and was the biggest of six in the litter. I love her size because she’s big enough that she can’t get lost under my feet. She’s still a hundred laughs a day and has the sweetest personality. Everybody simply loves her and she them.

Gabby 22 lbs
Mindy 20 lbs

Hi Everyone!
If you’re on our waiting list, this post is especially for you!
We have over 100 names on the list yet I usually only hear from and match puppies to the newest people. This summer I’m cleaning up my list.
I have been texting and emailing many of you on the list (I’m not all the way through yet). I’m finding that a bunch of you have found puppies somewhere else. I’m so happy for you! If you could kindly respond to my text or email and let me know what your plans are moving forward, that will help me a lot!
When brand new people see a waiting list so long, it’s discouraging and they pass me by. If my waiting list is filled with names of people that already have a pup or are no longer interested, it sends a false message.
So I’d like my list to ONLY have people that are still wanting to actually get a puppy!! I’ve emailed or texted through Maria P. I’ll continue to reach out until the very last name.
It will help me a lot if you simply text me your plans. It will save me a lot of time!! be sure to give me your full name in the text. Just a phone number won’t tell me who you are.
I’d like this project completed this week if possible. Thanks so much for your help.

Also, we have two puppies still from the Scarlett litter, the solid sable male and the light blenheim female.
And two more litters ready mid July with possible delivery to northern CA (Sacramento airport).
It’s a busy summer!!
Hi Everyone!
The Scarlett puppies are ready to go home. They are 11 weeks old and have their second shot. They are all going to be fabulous dogs and I’m excited to be already talking to six families about matching them.
I’ll let everyone know which one is still available after I talk to everyone today!
There are a bunch of new videos highlighting each puppy on our Facebook page. Be sure to check those out and I will be giving you a call later today. Here is my list!
Enjoy all the photos!
Are you ready for a Scarlett puppy and you’re near the San Jose CA airport? I’ll be heading that direction Sunday, June 19, and we can work out some great pricing on puppy travel. Send an email for more info!!

Hi Everyone!
I’ve had some interest in the Scarlett puppies though none have been matched quite yet.
I’ll be sending photos of the black pup, blenheim female, and the golden male to prospective families tomorrow. We still have the golden cream male, solid sable male, large blenheim male, and the light blenheim female available.
I wanted to let everyone know that since these puppies are a bit older and have had two shots, we are willing to ship them if there is an available flight with Alaska Airlines. With steep airline prices right now for human travelers, this might be a good option for those that are too far to drive.
Please reach out if you’re interested in a puppy from Scarlett’s litter. You do not need to be on the waiting list and puppies are ready to go home early next week.
Hi Everyone!
School is out, I’m home, and it’s time to talk about puppies!
The Scarlett litter has grown up and I’ve done a terrible job talking about them. We’ve had a few bumps in the road the past month (with other litters) but as a result, decided to keep the Scarlett litter until they had two shots before going home. They were also a little older when they got their first shot, so finally, at 10.5 weeks old, they are finally ready to go home!!
Here’s a look at their cute faces and a side view of their bodies.
These are large puppies and may be considered Megachon Cavachons with adult weights ranging from 18-30 lbs. they are getting their second booster shot on Thursday and they will also be seeing the vet on Thursday. They will be ready to go home Friday.
I have a small list of people that I will be calling first.
Debbie N, James S, Tina W, and Kristina S.
Anyone else interested in these puppies should fill out this Google form. I will be calling people starting Wednesday.
