Available Puppy

Hey Everyone!

Puppies from Pearlie and Chantel are going home. We are still looking for a home for the sable/white male from Chantel with the most white. I thought I had a family that wanted him but I have not heard from them so it’s time to look for another forever family.

I’m sorry I don’t have a current photo in this blog post but I wanted to get the word out ASAP because he can go home this week and he is ready for a forever family!!

Let me know if you’re interested. He is available to those on or off the waiting list. If you peek back a few weeks on Facebook at Chantel videos you will see him. I referred to him as the smallest of the three sable/white male puppies as well as the one with the most white. He is super happy and friendly and has amazing markings.

I have transportation already lined up for Dallas or Phoenix this Wednesday, or southern California next Monday. Looking forward to speaking with someone soon about him!!

F1, F1b, F2

This will be the first time we have 3 types of Cavachons available at the same time. I’ve had some questions regarding the distinction letters and numbers so I’ll explain a bit here.

F1 – this is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel bred to a Bichon Frise. This is a first generation puppy. Most of our litters are F1 litters. Sophia and Abbey have F1 puppies.

F1b – this is a Cavachon bred to a Bichon. This is what our Scarlett has produced in the past. Until this current litter, she was always bred to a Bichon male. These puppies can have a little tighter curl to their coat but not all end up like this. Their colors can be more muted or they can be vi rant just like the first generation. These puppies are essentially 3/4 Bichon and 1/4 Cavalier. Roxy was bred to Charlie our Cavachon male. This will be our first F1b litter with a Bichon as the mom.

F2 – this is a Cavachon bred to a Cavachon. These puppies are 1/2 Cavalier and 1/2 Bichon, but they are second generation puppies. Our current Scarlett x Charlie litter is an F2 litter. The colors are very vibrant and I’m so thrilled we got Black and Tan puppies because these have been very rare with the F1 breedings. Both Scarlett and Charlie are black/tan Cavachons and they produced some gorgeous colors!!

I hope that helps explain things!

I’m Back

Hey Everyone!

I’ve been very quiet recently due to an emergency, but all is well and I’m back to communicate and let you know what to expect in the coming weeks and months.

The older litters are going home and I’ve almost got all the travel lined up for all those puppies.

Looking forward, we have lots of new puppies and I’d like to give you a list for those that are on the waiting list.

I’m simply going to list colors and genders right now and I will be doing pictures in the coming week or so.

Blenheim – 1 girl, 1 boy (Scarlett F2)

Solid Sable – 1 girl (Sophia F1)

Tri – 1 boy (Scarlett F2)

Black – 1 girl, 1 boy (Abbey F1)

Black & Tan – 3 girls, 3 boys (Scarlett F2)

And one pregnant mom that could throw any colors. (Roxy F1b)

Many people have emailed me about getting on the waiting list and today I think I finally responded to everyone. We have dark puppies right now and if you wanted black/tan, possibly the rarest color, we have an abundance from the Scarlett litter!

I’ll post pictures of the babies soon!

Mistake

My busy life has caught up with me. People say all the time, “I don’t know how you do it,” referring to teaching and continuing to raise the puppies.

I pride myself in being organized, being a very hard worker, being willing to put in long work hours for both the kids and the puppies, and keeping detailed lists. But today I made a big mistake.

It’s actually been a mistake for several weeks and I didn’t even realize it. And I feel awful.

The solid sable puppy from the Justyne litter is a GIRL, not a boy. This puppy was sold as a boy. The owner is driving here now to pick up a boy puppy, but she’s a girl. I feel so terrible.

Her owner is still going to take her, even though she wanted a male dog. She’s driven far to get here and the wait for a replacement male pup could be significant.

This has happened one other time with a pair of blenheim puppies. We had a litter where one had a lot of color, the boy, and the other had a lot of white, the girl.

A few months later we had another litter of 2 blenheim pups, one with more color than the other. Somehow I thought the one with more color was the boy again and sold the puppies accordingly, only to find out at the Health Certificate that I had them mixed up.

People are gracious and forgiving and always so kind. This precious solid sable female is absolutely gorgeous and I hope she will steal the hearts of her new owners.

I truly feel awful about this mistake and I’ll be more careful in the future to be sure I’m calling a puppy by the correct gender. And I’ll find a way to get ahead of my life again so something like this doesn’t happen again.

Puppy Travel Everywhere!

This is a quick thank you for your patience as I coordinate puppy travel for 16 puppies during the next week!

Between making sure I have all addresses, health certificates from the vet, phone numbers, and actual dates and methods of travel for each pup, my head is a bit spinning right now!!

If you are new and have contacted me to get on the waiting list or ask questions, bear with me until things calm down here a little bit! I know there are emails waiting for me and I will get to them this weekend.

Thanks so much everyone!
