Tomorrow (Friday, April 22) is puppy matching day for the Mimi litter. There was a lot of interest in this litter and below is my call list.
I’ll begin the calls around 2pm and continue down the list until all of the puppies are matched. There are two black/white females, two black males, one black/white male, and a golden male.
I’ve listed what each person prefers so you should have a general idea of whether or not you might actually get a pup from this litter. One thing I know, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!!
Be sure you’re available to pick up your phone as I will call, and if you don’t answer, wait about 15 minutes, send a text and an email, and then try again. If you are still unavailable, I will then move on to the next person.
I really hope things will go very smoothly tomorrow and I won’t have to skip over anyone. My goal is to match all the puppies before 6pm.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I will only be discussing the puppies you selected on the litter form. We can try to FaceTime if you have an iPhone so you can see the puppies in action.
The Mimi puppies are now five weeks old and it’s time to begin our puppy selection for this litter. Here are some key detail to keep in mind. Please read through the whole blog post. If you still have questions, send an email to:
If you leave a question in the comments here I may or may not see it. I prefer email communication so everything stays in the same place.
This litter was born on March 10 and will be ready for new homes sometime between May 5-19. I’m leaving a wider range because these babies are small and may need to be a little older before going home.
There are six puppies: 2 black/white girls, 2 black boys, 1 black/white boy, 1 golden boy. The black/white pup on the right with more white on the back is the boy.
These puppies are not eligible to go into cargo on a plane because they are too small. Owners will need to drive or fly in to Spokane to pick them up in person. If you fly in, we will bring the puppy to the airport.
We expect these puppies to be from 12-16 lbs as adults. This is always a guesstimate but mom is one of our smallest Bichons and the puppies also seem on the smaller side.
Plan your pickup so it is not on a Saturday. We are not open on Saturdays.
To be considered for one of these puppies you will need to fill out the following form. It asks for your basic contact info, including the phone number you want me to use when/if I call you, waiting list number, town where you live (if puppies are going to the same place), and finally a list of preferences.
As you fill out the form (link below) you need to select every puppy that you would be willing to take home. I will only contact you about puppies you’ve selected, so if you’re open to both genders and all colors, just select every puppy.
If you are not on our waiting list you may choose any number after 150 as the form requires a waiting list number. We will consider you after talking to those who reached out and are on the waiting list. We will talk to people in waiting list order.
I plan to call people next Friday, April 22nd. I should start calling around 2pm.
Thank you for your interest in this litter. They are super cute and mom has been doing a great job raising them!!
We have two boys from the Olivia litter still available. They are ready this weekend-starting Sunday! I’ve been away in CA so I haven’t talked about them, but I’m back now and they are ready to go! Both are golden males.
The light golden male is spunky and fun! He is inquisitive and loves people and exploring things!
The large golden male is like a big love bug! He’s affectionate, yet playful, with all the fun that comes with having a puppy!
These boys are up to date on their worming and vaccinations.
Feel free to call for information at 509-936-2715, or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
It’s finally time to match the Olivia puppies. There are 8 puppies in this litter, 6 girls and 2 boys (both boys are golden colored). These photos were taken this week. These are F1 puppies, meaning both parents are purebred dogs, one a Bichon Frise, the other a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
They are currently five weeks old. We will do puppy selection Sunday afternoon, March 13th. I will begin making calls at 4pm.
We are expecting these puppies to be 14-18lbs as adults. They are happy and playful and starting to explore their world.
Please reach out only if you can bring a puppy home between March 28 & April 4. We really need them to go home when they are 8 weeks old if possible.
We expect you to come and pick up your puppy. We may be available for puppy nanny service. Those details will be worked out with each family separately.
We will work first with those on the waiting list. All waiting list numbers have been updated and can be found in the right sidebar column of the website. If you are not on the waiting list but would still like to be considered you can also fill out the form. Those names will be called if we still have puppies and in the order we receive them.
Here is the link to the form for Olivia’s litter. Please select every single puppy you would be willing to bring home. If you want to talk about any puppy from the litter, simply select every checkbox for the puppies in the form. I am also uploading roll call videos of the puppies on our Facebook page, Silver Paw Cavachons.
We also have two accelerated blenheim male puppies from the Penny litter. They are currently 11 weeks old and will be large, 20-25lbs as adults. Please send an email if you’d like more info about them.
And finally, Mimi is in the nursery waiting to deliver F1 puppies. We should get a variety of colors.
We have two gorgeous male puppies available from the Mercedes litter.
Both of these boys will do well n a busy household or with a family that wants an energetic puppy. They are full of puppy antics and will make you laugh and keep you on your toes.
They will be eight weeks old Thursday, January 20th and will be ready to go home after their vet exam that day. The other five puppies in the litter have been matched and we are hoping to match these two as well!
Send us an email at email@example.com if you’d like more info. KP
The puppy matching process has been a bit slow this time with the Dutchess litter. After talking with 13 families, we matched just three puppies. Then one by one, we matched two more. As of me typing this, we have the smaller sable/white female and the golden male still available. I can tell you that she has some spunk and he seems to be a gentle soul. They are both ready to go home starting this Thursday. We are taking the litter to the vet Thursday to get their health certificates. We’d love to have them all matched by then if possible!!
For the Mercedes litter, I will begin calling people tomorrow. We have just two families from the waiting list, Eva B and Eugenia T. I will be talking to them first and second. Then everyone else reached out even though they were not on the list. I have Amanda H, Ann A, Sara H, Martina A, Billie D, Jolene R, Kristin Z, Stacy M, Anna C, Yvonne D, Dennis M, and Denise S. I will be talking to these people in no particular order and I am already corresponding with a couple of them via email.
There are seven Mercedes pups to match and two Dutchess pups. Please reach out via email if you’re interested.
I also want to put out a plug for our Instagram account @ silverpawcavachons. I am going to be using IG stories a lot in the future to communicate the details. You won’t want to miss it. If you’re following our FB page you will get the same info as IG feeds right into Facebook.
My priority right now is to match the last two puppies from the Dutchess litter and get them all sent home. Then I can focus all my attention on the Mercedes pups.
We have lowered the price of our puppy nanny service to $750. My youngest son, who is now 21, and was three when we bred our first litters, (so he’s been around the dogs basically his whole life) is in charge of transporting puppies in the cabin of the aircraft to hand deliver them to you!! If this is something you’d like to pursue, let us know right away. It’s always better to book airline tickets sooner, rather than later.
What’s next? Penny, our large ruby colored Cavalier had puppies on December 22nd. They are also going to be large puppies. She had four pups, blenheim and golden. They will be ready in February.
Remember, the best way to communicate with us is via email, or give us a call. Thanks for following along! Kristy 😊💕🐶
They were born on November 25, 2021 and will be eight weeks old January 20th. They will be able to go home January 20-26, or later with additional costs.
There are 7 puppies in the litter, two girls (blenheim and golden) and five boys. These are going to be large puppies ranging from 17-30lbs as adults. “Megachons”
If you’re interested in this litter, please fill out the litter selection form below. If you’re not on the waiting list and you’re interested, please still fill out the form. I am confident that there will be available puppies even after I speak with those already on the waiting list.
I hope you had a nice Christmas if you celebrate. We were busy this week and got some great photos of the puppies and it’s time to see who is interested in this litter!
Please use this form to indicate your interest in the Dutchess litter. There are seven puppies, six girls and one boy. Please select ALL of the puppies that you would consider as I will not call you about any puppies that are not selected.
They are currently almost six weeks old and they will be ready for their new homes after January 9th. We’d like them to go home between 8-9 weeks old, which is January 9-15th, so please keep that in mind as you decide whether a pup from this litter will work with your timeline.
Here are a few snaps of them from our IG stories. If you are not following us over there, it’s time to start. I’m planning to be MUCH more active on IG for 2022. Find us @silverpawcavachons.
Here are some fun comparison photos. This litter is absolutely gorgeous!!
There are quick videos of them on my IG stories, so get over there quick to see them before they disappear!!
This litter interest form will be open until this Tuesday, December 28th at 9pm pacific time. I will then begin contacting people to start matching the puppies. I’m hoping to have them all matched by next Friday, December 31st so people can look into travel arrangements.
Please send an email if you have questions. Our email is firstname.lastname@example.org. We will give priority to those already on our waiting list but everyone is welcome to fill out the litter form.
One more thing, here’s a quick look at their weights as 5 1/2 week old puppies. We ALWAYS get asked about adult weights and it’s very much a guessing game. Our guesstimate for adult weight is 4x their weight at 8 weeks old. Most of these puppies should be between 3-4lbs at 8 weeks old, so adult weight should be the usual 15-20lbs, +|- a pound or two.
