Maddie Info

Hi Everyone!

I hope I’ve got everything caught up. Again, I cannot stress enough how important it is for you to communicate via email. As I was wrapping up the Maddie list, I checked the comments on the blog and found two more requests to be added. This is a good way to get missed. I’m just being honest. I don’t keep up with blog comments at all, and I am not going to change that approach. I can only do so much and I cannot be chasing down communication.

With that said, here are the Maddie lists. The first is the original list of people interested, with all the recent adds. The second is the Top 15 names for 5 puppies.

As always, if I have missed you, let me know today so I can get you added. This is new territory for me, managing so much interest for a single litter. This is the last call for Maddie interest. I will not being adding any new names after today, June 30th.

Puppy selection day for Maddie’s litter is Friday, July 3rd, beginning at noon. If your name is on the Top 15 list, especially the top 8-10, send me the phone number you want me to use to call you. Some of you have been communicating with me regarding your schedule conflicts. Let’s keep talking so we can be sure we are able to talk.

There are new videos of the puppies on Facebook.

If you are in the Top 15 and you want to see the videos without the watermark, send me a text message (509) 936-2715. I’ve found it to be nice and easy to text the short videos. I also have another one that shows their faces really well.

Also, if you’ve emailed me with specific questions about this litter, I’m only going to respond if you’re in the Top 15. Chances are the puppies will go to families on that Top 15 list so I can’t take the time to talk details with anyone else.

If you are a praying person, I could use prayer! This summer has 7 huge tasks, with only two of them that I can back off a bit from…

1. Dogs-Retiring adults, selling 10 pups, regular daily stuff

2. Wedding-My daughter got engaged in June and her wedding is in August!!

3. Wedding Shower-I’m in charge of planning this.

4. Continuing Education-I signed up for a 4 credit Bible course (Paul and the Gospel) this summer. I didn’t know the wedding would happen when I signed up, otherwise I may have pushed this task to next year.

5. Garden-I have a beautiful garden this year and it’s like a child that always needs nurture and attention!

Tiny glimpse. There’s much, much more!

6. Decluttering-I can’t believe I’m admitting this online, but I haven’t unpacked boxes from our move to WA in 2007. Most of it is now trash, but we found the horse trailer registration, and a silver coin, so I can’t just toss everything!! It’s like reliving my homeschool years in CA and when we first moved to WA so it’s very emotional work.

7. And finally, prep for next school year! With the ever changing Covid news (I’m so done listening to all of it), it’s hard to know how to plan, but plans have to happen.

So I have a ton on my plate in the next 7-8 weeks (this all has to happen by August 24th) and I could use extra prayers!!

And one last thing, if when you communicate with me, you can add your waiting list number, that would be awesome! Then I don’t have to hunt you down through 105 names to find out where you are!

If you’ve read to the end of this, congrats! Have a wonderful day!!

Explaining the Puppy Matching Process

Hi Everyone!

We have officially matched the Penny puppies and I’ve made a video explaining how all the details went down! It’s a process of elimination often times and one that reveals itself only as it happens. After it’s done, it’s a lot easier to explain the basic matching process.

I’m hoping this video will offer some clarity in how the process works. It’s the best way I know to keep the order intact, yet not be waiting to hear back from people that are not ready.

You’ll see that those further down on the waiting list did not get a pup this time around, but in general, that is to be expected. You’ll also see that the lady who is #64 on the waiting list DID get a pup, so it never hurts to put your name out there because you never know what is going to happen!

Let me know if you have any questions. And again, please communicate with me via email unless I specifically establish a text message with you. Thank you!

Penny & Jack Puppies

I’m frustrated.

Not with any of you. I’m frustrated with my internet.

I live in the country. It’s SLOW. I drove to my school today to get the puppy videos from yesterday uploaded. The last one wouldn’t load.

It still won’t load. It’s full of explanations about the Penny list. Maybe it will show up later today, but it won’t be linked from here. Instead, here is a picture.

We had quite a bit of interest. I’ve now taken the Top nine names and made a new sub list (small list on the right). The nine names will be the people I focus on for these puppies. If I’ve missed your name, you’re on the waiting list in the top 50 AND you already emailed me, reach out again so I can get you added.

I hope to upload 3 videos a day this week. Here are the first three from Monday. Please watch them all. There’s a lot of info shared.

I apologize about the watermark. Sadly, dishonest people are making fake websites, stealing pictures from reputable breeders, and “selling” those puppies to innocent families. I’m doing my best to keep that from happening with my puppies.

Let me know via email if you have any questions. These puppies are only available (right now) to the nine names above.

Thanks for your patience!

Quick Announcement

We will not be doing puppy selection today for Penny’s litter, but it will happen on Friday. I have video to upload and it was too slow here last night. Thanks for your patience. More will be explained in the videos. I have three videos from yesterday and plan to do three each day this week. I also plan to update the other litters as well. Stay tuned!

Update on Casper

After posting about Casper, I took several days off from responding to emails. Today, I compiled all the inquiries for him and there were 23 emails/messages/FB messages. I’m working through the names. I’m not surprised at this huge interest, and I’m sorry I don’t have 25 little Caspers looking for homes!

If you don’t hear from me via email, I will post here when he has found his home. I know you ALL would be amazing choices.

I am also extremely behind on responding to regular emails. I hate to have to tell everyone our waiting list is CLOSED. We have over 100 names and just 10 puppies right now. I don’t feel right taking any more money when it could be 1-2 years before we would have a pup for you. Please subscribe to the website to be notified when the waiting list opens up again. Thank you!

Tiny Cavalier Boy

Hey Everyone!

We interrupt our Cavachon program to bring you a quick snapshot of “Casper”. He is a TINY purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel male puppy in the black/tan color. I expect his adult weight to be around 8-10lbs.

He is the runt. He eats canned food (can’t get him to eat dry food), he is spunky, energetic, and always ready to DO something.

He is ready for his new home. Here is a quick video of him.

I am making him available today to those on my waiting list. Tomorrow I will respond in order to the emails that have come in about him.

He is ready to go. Feel free to email us at silverpawcavachons@gmail.com for more info.

Email Trouble

Notes to self.

1. Don’t wait a whole week to respond to emails. There were over 30 inquiries.

2. Don’t post a new litter blog post before responding and getting caught up with emails.

3. Don’t blindly copy and paste the WRONG email to all the new people.

I just did all 3 of those things. I’m going to do a public apology here because a TON of you receive condolences about a lost dog instead of my normal first email response. Instead of individually emailing over 30 people with an apology, I’m just doing it here.

Please do email me again if you’d like info on our puppies!!

Thanks for your patience!!

Introducing Maddie & Rocky Pups

Date of Birth: May 28, 2020

Window to go home: July 23-29, 2020

Accelerated training begins ($200/week extra charge): July 30, 2020

First look at the babies…

From left to right: Blenheim M, Sable/White M, Solid Sable F, Blenheim F, Solid Sable F.

Right now you are simply evaluating timeline and color/gender availability. We will talk about the puppies in more detail as they grow up.

I am taking names for this litter list from those on the main waiting list. If you have already told me you were interested in this litter, you need to send me a new email as I did not have my page made yet for this litter, but now I am ready. Please send your name via email, not a comment on the blog, Fb message, or IG message. C

Communication using those other methods has the potential to get lost in the shuffle and it’s very difficult for me to manage communication coming from 4 different locations.

Our email is silverpawcavachons@gmail.com. We will accept names for this litter until they are 5 weeks old.

Thank you for reaching out to us! These babies are doing well!

New Puppies

Just a teaser to let you know we have a newborn litter as of last Thursday. Puppies are doing very well and everyone is happy.

Waiting for Kenzie to deliver any day and then maybe one other mom due in June.

I’ll post photos soon. I’ll say we have both boys and girls and three different color choices (blenheim, sable/white, solid sable). I would have attached a photo here, but my phone was dead.

This post is also to serve as an encouragement to those deep on the list. Slowly, but surely, litters will be born and will go home, and your name will continue to rise on the list. Your day will come! Patience!

We also sent home two retired adults and a third will be going home soon.
