What’s in the Nursery?

Hi Everyone!

We have some puppies looking for homes. Four to be exact.

First, we have Buddy, the blenheim male Cavachon, accelerated puppy. He is taking daily walks on the leash and learning to use the doggie door and actively being crate trained. He is a lover boy and ready for his new home any day!

He is such a people person and he is curious and eager and just plain fun!

Here we are on our most recent walk with Buddy and Scarlett practicing stops and gos.

Next up are two Bichon Frise boys, very playful, and should range from 12-16 lbs as adults.

These guys essentially look the same and they are both a bundle of white fluff.

These boys are currently seven weeks old and will be ready for their new homes next week.

Lastly, we have a four week old Cavachon male, sable and white.

If you know the back story of the dogs, you’ll know that it all started to pay for piano lessons for my children. Now that they’re all grown and out of the house, and since I’m no longer taking lessons at this time, and I’ve cut way back on the number of litters we are having each year, and since Scarlett’s is getting up there in age, it felt fitting to keep a puppy or two for ourselves.

When Missy had this litter with a solid gold (my favorite color) and solid black puppy (too gorgeous to let go), I couldn’t stop thinking about naming them Ebony and Ivory to honor the years of piano and the fulfillment of my dream to have the dogs pay for my children to have music lessons.

So in this litter, we are keeping the two solid girls, and little Beethoven (sable/white male) is looking for a forever home.

I’ve also decided to donate the sale of one puppy per litter to our local worthy student fund so kids can have access to private education.

Ebony will be known as “Bunny” and Ivory will be known as “Ivy”. Here’s a video I took yesterday of the litter.

In future news, both Lacey and Lizzy, two female Bichons that have never had puppies, tied with Duke, a proven black/tan Cavalier male at the beginning of September, so if they are pregnant, we will expect two new litters at the beginning of November with puppies ready to go home just after the new year.

That is our news! I hope everyone is doing well and let me know if you’re ready for a puppy. The waiting list has been very quiet recently so it’s basically first come first serve.

Last Puppy Looking For Forever Lap

We still have the last pup! He’s a male from the Emily litter and he’s now 13 weeks old. He is looking for his forever lap!

My lap is working…for now…but he needs a forever lap!! He is a cuddler and super sweet boy.

Seriously!! Look at those eyes! He’s in our accelerated puppy program which means he’s actively being crate trained, walking on a leash, learning stairs, and getting very good at the potty tray and going outside to potty. He has his rabies shot and will get his last booster shot next week.

He is ready to go anytime. We’ve been calling him “Puppers”, but he needs a real name…a forever name.

Please reach out if you’re ready for a bundle of fun that is past the super intense potty training timeframe and can sleep through most nights in his crate.

All the other puppies have gone home so he’s here alone and waiting!

Black Male Cavachon Available

Hi Everyone!

This puppy/dog is looking for his forever home and he’s from the Mercedes litter born September 3, 2023.

As a puppy, he was truly pick of the litter for personality!! He was the friendliest, most social little guy. We had a family for him, but then I decided to NOT keep the black/tan female and so that family decided they wanted a girl instead, and took her.

Pictured with Pierre, who went home a bit ago. This was shortly after a spring haircut.

He’s still a happy dog, looking for his forever home. I had a second home for him, but when they learned he weighed 27 lbs, they decided he was too big, and decided to wait for a smaller dog.

He has spent time in the house and slept in a crate and used the doggie door for his potty needs. We are working with him on a leash so things should keep getting better there. He’s a very good natured dog and will thrive in a family setting.

I can’t wait to find the right family. I know you are out there somewhere!!

Here he is today with his hair more grown out. He has a luxurious, black coat with a tuxedo chest. He’s quite the dapper dog!!

Please reach out via email or phone if you might be interested in this wonderful dog!

Two Litters Now

Hi Everyone!

We planned for three litters this summer, and litter number two has now been born! Mercedes and Big Boy had their puppies a week after Emily. Here’s the first look at her pups!

There are six puppies in this litter, five girls and one boy. The sable/white puppy is the boy (brown and white).

These puppies will also be ready mid July, a perfect time to bring a new puppy into your home!

Puppy & Piano News

Hi Everyone!

It’s time for some updates! Things have been somewhat quiet around here simply because we’ve not bred any new puppies since the end of 2024.

Here is the first update with more to come:

Pierre found his forever home. I was able to fly him to the Seattle area in March of this year, on my way to look at a baby grand piano, a very fitting activity since it was piano lessons for my children that inspired this entire dog world that we have enjoyed for so many years!!

Pierre at the airport!
Sweetest dog and family!
This is a wonderful family where Pierre is very loved!
Our first mini adventure together for 2024!

After we delivered Pierre, we had a little drive north to look at and play the baby grand piano. It was an exciting little day trip for the two of us!

We did buy the piano!

It was a family member that reached out to us and I am so grateful they thought of us. It has been a dream to own a baby grand!!…and the price was excellent!!

Naughty Buddy

After we paid for the piano (it would be delivered a few weeks later), we stopped by my hubby’s cousin’s house and visited for a bit. If you scroll back a ways on this blog, you’ll find a post about “Naughty Buddy”, an older pup that needed a home. This is where he found his forever home and he was a bundle of bouncy, happy energy!! We then made our way back home after a really fun day!!

I’ve received several emails from people asking if Pierre was still available so I thought I better post an update.

Stay tuned for more doggie news. We still have some older puppies available (two blenheim males and a black male) and a brand new litter of three blenheim males (I know, so many boys!).

Let me hear from you if you’re interested in a puppy! 🐶

Last Puppy

Hello Everyone!

We’ve had a busy weekend sending three puppies to their forever homes!

Solid Sable Female

The first to go was the solid sable female. She’s heading out of state to a wonderful new family!! Her new name is “Syrup” and she’s definitely a sweetie!

Golden Female

The next to go weathered a mountain pass on the first day we had snow here at home. They had come in person to choose their “Honey” girl and she is now safely home beginning her new life!!

Blenheim Female

The final pup to leave yesterday was this outgoing blenheim female. Her family had a second meeting after deciding they wanted to wait, and they all realized now was the time after all!! She’s heading to southern CA to begin her new life in the sunshine!!

The sixth puppy matched will be accelerated and stay here until after Christmas. The small sable/white female is going to a family with two excited little girls!!

The fourth and fifth puppies to go home will happen next Friday, November 22. I will fly to San Francisco, CA, with the golden male and my husband will fly to Ontario, CA, with the solid sable male.

This brings me to exciting news. The blenheim male could join either of our trips for half price nanny service!! He’s a beautiful, calm boy with a loving, laid back personality, waiting for his forever home to choose him!!

Please reach out via email or phone if you’re interested in the blenheim male.

Looking ahead: I’ve heard from two families that are ready to send a deposit for a new litter. Please let me know if you’re interested in a future puppy and would like to get on the waiting list. If you’re already on the waiting list, let me know you’re ready for a pup from our next litter.

Regarding the waiting list, I’ll be posting it soon so we can clean it up.

Happy Fall to everyone! 🍁🍂

WE HAVE PUPPIES!!

Whew!! It’s our first (and probably last) litter for 2024, and we were blessed with seven beautiful babies from Missy and Jack.

They will be ready my birthday weekend, November 14-17, and I am available to puppy nanny to southern California-Ontario Airport-Thursday evening, November 14th. Depending on my flight, I also may be able to do a quick delivery in Seattle.

We have two families that are definitely getting puppies from this litter. I know one is looking specifically at the sable/white female or the blenheim female, and the other family is still considering their options.

After they both choose, there are still five gorgeous puppies available! The colored stuffed bone indicates whether the puppy is a girl or a boy. We basically have one of each color/gender plus the sable/white little girlie.

Blenheim Male

I expect all of these puppies to be the average size of 15-20 lbs as adults. Their coats are very typical for the Cavachon- nice and wavy.

Please reach out if you’re interested in this litter. We do have a slumbering waiting list with quite a few people, but I need you to reach out to me in order to be considered for these puppies.

They are currently just over two weeks old which means they will be ready in about six weeks.

Please get in touch with us if you’re ready for a puppy. Pricing and purchase details will be sent via email.

Puppies Should Be Coming Soon & Available Older Puppy

We just moved Missy to the nursery. We should have new puppies soon. I have two families for sure that are in line for this litter. Let me know if you would like to be considered for this litter. It’s looking like puppies should be ready in November.

We also have Sophie (that’s what I’ve named her) available for adoption.

She is fully crate trained and doggie door trained. We have not done any leash walking yet but she gets along with Jazzy and Scarlett really well and she is a cuddler.

I think her best home will be one with a single female and a quieter life. She barks at my husband and son but I think if they put in some effort, she would learn to like them.

She would also probably do well in a home with another dog. I don’t know how she would do with children. She hasn’t been around them at all except when she was really young.

She goes right into her crate at night and when I let her out in the morning (7-9 hours) she goes right outside, through the doggie door and does her business.

She’s been living in the house with us for several months now just waiting for the right family. People are going to ask her price…please make a reasonable offer. She’s an F1b blenheim, female Cavachon. She was born on New Year’s Day. She needs a forever home. She needs to meet new people. She needs companionship.

Please email or call to talk about Sophie or the upcoming litter.

Summer Update

Hello Everyone!

Happy summer 2024! So many things have been happening in my life and it’s time for an update. First, a puppy update.

We have two females with a male dog right now and so far there has been no action that we’re aware of. We have been reserved in doing any other breeding because we have FIVE puppies (that are now teens and almost adults) that did not sell in our last three litters and we cannot breed if we can’t find homes for the dogs.

We would like to breed more again, but we also have to know that there is enough interest in puppies. If you have reached out to me about puppies or updates, please do so again and I will be sure to respond. I know there are several of you waiting for a Missy puppy and we are hoping she will get pregnant soon.

The main reason we have been so quiet over here is that I have been caring for my 88 year old mother in CA. Last school year, besides working full time in my multigrade (grades 5-8) classroom, I have been flying back and forth to CA to help care for my mother. This has limited my available puppy hours significantly, so we took a step back and separated the dogs. This is the longest break we have ever taken and while we do want to breed again, and plan to, we have been careful not to get in over our heads with puppies, jobs, and elder care.

As for now, we have two females with a male dog and hope to ease back into having litters as we settle into the next school year.

In the meantime, we are working with our older puppies and I want to introduce this Scarlett female to everyone again. She is currently six months old and living in the house with us. She has learned to use the doggie door and is crate trained. We are still working on walking on the leash. It’s also been too hot to do much car experience but we have gone to the groomer and home again.

The groomer said she was a dream to work with and the sweetest girl ever!! At our home she is smart and spunky and ready for an adventure. She sleeps in a crate at night and goes outside to do her business in the morning when we let her out of her crate.

She is ready for her new home anytime as an accelerated puppy. Next up, after she finds her forever home, we will bring in her brother who looks exactly like her. Following him, we have another blenheim male and two black males. I’d love to see all these older puppies find homes before Halloween if possible. If that can happen, I’d feel much better about combining more dogs again for future puppies.

So that is our update. Here are a few photos, first, the girlie that is ready to go anytime, and then my family priority, my mom.

We need a name for her!
She should be from 15-20lbs as an adult.

For anyone interested, I also have video footage of the female puppy. Email me for more info at:
