Let’s Talk About Buddy

This is Buddy. He’s looking for a new home-AGAIN!

He’s super cute.

He’s like 5 months old and he doesn’t have any manners.

Like this.

He’s been rejected by two families. He’s back at our house. He’s loving, energetic, unsocialized, and looking for someone who can give him boundaries. He’s not too old to turn into a fantastic dog. He’s looking for the right family that can handle him and train him.

I’ll tell you more details on the phone. I’m open to anyone who is not afraid of a little bit of a project. He’s NOT free.

Send me an email if you’d like to be considered. Please title it “Naughty Buddy”. Give me your phone number and why you think you/your family would be a good match.

He’s looking for his people!! 🐶🥰👀

Scarlett Puppy Selection Form

Let’s start talking about the Scarlett puppies! There are six of them, two girls and four boys.

Solid Sable Female
Light Golden Female
Light Golden Male
Sable/White Male with spot on head
Sable/White Male small and curly
Sable/White Male

These puppies are F1b. They have a Cavachon mother, Scarlett, and a Bichon Frise dad, Jack Frost.

They were born March 11 and they will be ready to go home May 6-12. Any stay after the 12th of May will incur an extra charge. You will need to make arrangements to come here to pick up your puppy. If that is not possible, we will need to talk.

They will be from 16-24 lbs as adults, or at least that is my best guess. The colors will fade, as is common with most cavachons.

Right now you are just evaluating timeline, color, and gender. We will talk about personality details as they get older.

If you’re on the waiting list, and are interested in being considered for this litter, please fill out the form linked below. It is simple, but it’s also very important that you select every single puppy that you might be interested in taking home.

Puppy selection day for this litter will be Sunday, April 18th. Please put it on your calendar! More details to come.

Please click on this link and fill out the form. You need to know your waiting list number to fill out the form. Your number may have changed since the last time you looked.

Have a blessed weekend!

SPC Update

Spring is in the air, the snow has all melted, and my youngest son is building me a new walk path to our house!

We had stepping stones that kept getting grown over with grass resulting in a very bumpy and undefined path, and it was time for a clearer walkway.

My husband scored these bricks from the chimney of an old farm house that sadly burned down. My boys meticulously cleaned them and today is the big day to get them placed in the pathway.

The cats, Bumper, our big orange cat, and his sidekick, Black Kitty, are watching the whole process come together.

But this is not the only new thing happening around here!

We have new puppies! Scarlett had a litter of F1b puppies a couple weeks ago and today is our first look at them! I will be putting up their litter interest link with all the vital information in the next blog post.

SS Female, Light Golden Male & Female, 3 Sable/White Males

Then Pearlie had a small litter of just two pups, a dark solid sable girl and a black boy. I will post their litter post soon.

And then we have Paige. Today might be the day, or more likely in the middle of the night tonight, but she is ready in her whelping space and I can’t wait to see what is inside this huge belly!

She looks very uncomfortable, but she hasn’t started digging yet. It should be very soon!

After this, we’ve had a few more dogs breed, so we are looking toward a very busy spring!

Also, my mom is back home. She stayed with us for 3.5 weeks and everything went very well. I spent some time with her and my sister, which was long overdue. Here’s a quick snap of the three of us at my mom’s house.

Tell me, are you interested in hearing more about my personal life in this blog? Or should we stick to just dogs? I do have a personal blog but it would be easier if everything was all in one place! Let me know!

PS, the path is almost finished!!

Maddie Pups Matched

Hi Everyone!

The Maddie litter has been matched to their forever homes. Congratulations to the following families:

Libby G – (third pup in roll call video)

Melissa D – (last pup in roll call video)

Summer K (second pup in roll call video)

Holly W (first pup in roll call video)

Be watching for several emails from me that detail what the next steps are moving forward.

Can’t wait to meet all of you this next week. Pups will see the vet and be ready to meet each of you!!

For those who didn’t quite make the cut, Scarlett has been brought into the nursery. We are expecting new pups from her very soon. They are F1b pups because she is a Cavachon bred to a Bichon.

Have a happy weekend!

Maddie Puppy Selection

Hi Everyone!

It’s time to begin puppy selection for Maddie’s boys. I posted a video of them today on Facebook and there are a few pictures here as well.

Since they are all boys and look so similar, we will need to FaceTime if possible for the actual selection process. From what I can tell now, there is one very outgoing pup, one rather shy pup, and two in between. It’s a pretty typical bell curve litter when it comes to personalities.

They are F1 puppies from a Bichon mother and a black/tan Cavalier father. I expect them to be from 15-20 lbs as adults.

They will be ready to go home beginning Tuesday, March 9th. We would like to see them all go home between 8-9 weeks old if possible (March 9-15). After 9 weeks we do charge a fee to keep them extra weeks.

If you are on our waiting list, and are open to a solid sable male, and their going home date works for you, please fill out the following form to be considered for this litter.

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSccYeAqcT8JQNncehzI3QeJJOgLsK2qrKzg-bpdcsIb3cPcKw/viewform

I will accept names until this Thursday night, March 4, at 10pm. I will then close the form. I will post my call list Friday morning here on the blog and begin calling people at 2pm on Friday, March 5th.

Please be available for my call. If there is no answer I will move to the next person on the list, and then try calling you back. I don’t want to skip over anyone.

Here is a quick snap of each puppy.

Can you tell them apart??!!

They are all doing well, playing and exploring together! Looking forward to talking with several of you on Friday!

5 Month Old Puppy – Buddy

Hi Everyone!

We are helping a family rehome their 5 month old puppy. He has too much energy for them and they have had some struggles with the potty training. Here is some info from his current family.

“He is a Blenheim and was born on September 27, 2020. He is from Fergie & Jack.

He is up to date on his shots including his rabies shot.

He has been to the groomer where he had his teeth cleaned, his nails cut and coat washed and brushed.

Buddy sleeps all night – from 8 – 8:30 pm to 6:30 – 7:00 am  in his crate

He loves to play and be patted.  We throw balls and he goes to fetch it.

He stays at the bottom of the stairs if we go up and wait for us until we come back down.

He is not consistent with going potty outside. He will go outside first thing in the morning sometimes. Inside, he will mainly go on the “pee pad” but he will also go on the kitchen floor.

He is teething so there is a lot of chewing, shoes, furniture, etc.

He is a high energy puppy and is constantly jumping on us and biting on our clothes. He also jumps to try and get anything on the countertop.

He plays well with other dogs.   Our son has (2) 70 lb. rescue dogs.  The family came over for a distanced visit last weekend and the dogs all played together in our backyard for a few hrs.

He currently weighs approx..14.5 LBS”

He is located in Everett, WA, and we want to find him a home that is driving distance. He is definitely still trainable and needs an active family that can handle an active pup.

If you’re on our waiting list and Buddy sounds like he could be a good fit with your family, please send me an email. Please include a phone number where I can reach you.

Here are a couple of current photos.
