More Ways to Follow

Social media is both one of my favorite things in life and one of the most stressful things in life!  But it’s a really good way to keep in touch with people and communicate and gain exposure!

I have 2 announcements for all of you!

1. I will be doing another live video tonight at 5pm on our FB page.

2.  I have opened an Instagram account for Silver Paw Cavachons. If you have Instagram, I’d love for you to follow @silverpawcavachons and post pictures of your furbabies with the hashtag #silverpawcavachons.

I will also post photos on IG and try to communicate there as well!  If you don’t have an IG, as long as you’re watching the blog and FB, you shouldn’t miss anything.

See you at 5pm (PST) on FB for the video!

More From Shadow

I’ve been cleaning out my emails and I’m finding a bunch of them that should have been posted along the way. Here is more from “Shadow”!

Hi Kristy!

Here’s a quick update on Shadow…

At about 9 months old, he is about 20 lbs and a huge bundle if happy energy. He is very healthy.

He was super easy to house train. He loves absolutely everyone and everything, a super joyful pup.

His coloring is beautiful and we love him immensely.

I try to take photos, but he never stops moving so this is all you get! Maybe one of these days we will get a decent one.

Puppy Update – Roger

Love getting these email updates!

He is doing great, he is very energetic and quite well behaved in terms of eliminating (minus a couple of accidents which I would not blame him for 🙂 ). You did a really good job with him: he is a very happy puppy, socializes well with people – we are quite impressed with him overall (might be because he is our first puppy as well).
I thought this would bring you a smile 🙂

Little Roger went to a daycare and had a great time with other puppies, and had a bit of pee accident that resulted in him getting a bath and bow tie 🙂

My wife keeps saying how lucky we are with Roger (the way he behaves, how friendly he is with people and other dogs, etc.), and that is not only because of his character, you had a huge contribution to all that, and we want to thank you again for littler Roger!

Waiting List Updates

Now that we have some puppies and I’m pretty certain a few people from the list are getting them, I have updated the actual wait list and we are ready to receive a few more deposits from those on the pre-wait list.

I am also going to discontinue the pre-wait list and just go back to doing things my regular way, because it’s too co fusing for me to have 2 lists!

A couple people have found puppies from other sources, so their names have been removed. Also, this new list does not include the 3 names of those getting the golden, solid sable, and one of the black/white girls from Chantel’s litter.

As of today, we have 12 people that have sent deposits and are on our waiting list.

Of these 12 people, I have heard from many regarding whether or not they are ready for a pup from Chantel’s litter. This is the info I have as of today. A line means no, a circle means yes!

If there is no mark, I have not heard from that family yet, and I’m assuming they are not ready and I’m moving forward with those that have circles.

Right now we have a black/white female and a blenheim male still available from Chantel’s litter, and a gold male and Tri male from Paige’s litter. There is a video on our FB page that I did live yesterday that shows both of these litters. Chantel’s pups will be ready in 3 weeks and the Paige pups are just 2 weeks old, so we have another 6 weeks for them.

We are also ready to take more names on the waiting list. Below is our pre-wait list (the first and last of its kind, lol!), and if your name is on that list, it’s time to decide if you’d like to send a deposit to get on the waiting list. Please get in touch with me ASAP so I can send our address.

Please let me know if you have any further questions. I hope to hear from many of you soon!

Best Dog Ever – Shadow

I was going through emails and found this beautiful testament and wanted to share with all of you!

Hi, Kristy,
You do not know how difficult it was for me not to have you send one of the sable boys with Shadow today. The livelier of the two sable boys stole my heart weeks ago. I am smart enough to know it will be better to get them a couple years apart, so at some point I came to my senses, but can’t stop thinking of how cute they’d be together.

No matter what, you can count on a repeat customer at some point down the road when I want to get a little brother for Shadow. In the meantime, I will have so much fun training him and taking him everywhere we go.

Shadow is such a doll. He fits right in.

Thank you, Kristy, for the very professional way you run your business. I have known many breeders and you really stand head and shoulders above the rest. It was a pleasure working with you, and I do hope to do work with you again when it is time for Shadow to get a little brother.

Warmest regards,

Laurie

FB Live Instead!

Oh man, I almost forgot to post here!  I decided to do the video via the FB page. You should be able to just go to our FB group Silver Paw Kennels and see the live feed. It will be a first again, so hopefully some of you can join me and we can figure this out together!

See you in 15 minutes!!

Periscope

Hi Everyone!

It’s getting closer to puppy selection time with Chantel’s litter and I want to try something new!

Do you all have Periscope?  Do you know what it is?

I’m not an expert but I do know this…Periscope is a way for me to video the puppies and you all can watch live, while its happening, and ask questions and make comments in real time.

I think this will be an amazing tool for puppy selection and I’m excited to try it this week. I’m considering the early evening hours, maybe around 5 pm (PST) on Thursday, March 17.  That is tomorrow!

My Periscope name is Grace Without Tears (for now) if you want to follow me and get the notification when the video begins.

I have never done this before as the presenter, but I have taken part in Periscopes as someone watching and commenting. I expect it will be an adventure.

I hope to see you all tomorrow night!  Chantel’s pups are 4 weeks old and starting to move around and play with each other!

Draper is Homeless Again

I don’t understand why this lovely little dog is still here.

He is 5 months old. He has been neutered. He has been handled a lot since he was a puppy. He has had a couple homes lined up that fell through. I know there is a family out there who will love Draper and give him the home he deserves. He will be a perfect match for someone.

He is basically a “phase 2” Accelerated Puppy, yet without the full cost. He walks on a leash, does stairs with ease, sleeps in a crate, and is a gentle spirit and loves to cuddle. He loves the kids at school and he is a pleasant little guy to have around. He needs final potty training and that’s about it.

He is from Abbey’s litter, born in Octover 2015. You can scroll back to read his story.

He has a Health Certificate (his 3rd one), and he can go home any day. He was scheduled to fly to JFK this Friday, but plans had to change.

(Before he was groomed last week)

His price is $1250 (1/2 the price of a phase 2 Accelerated Puppy), $300 for his neuter, and $425 for shipping if that is necessary. ($1975 total). This price is firm.
Please call me if you would like to give Draper a forever home.
