What’s in the Nursery?

Hi Everyone!

We have some puppies looking for homes. Four to be exact.

First, we have Buddy, the blenheim male Cavachon, accelerated puppy. He is taking daily walks on the leash and learning to use the doggie door and actively being crate trained. He is a lover boy and ready for his new home any day!

He is such a people person and he is curious and eager and just plain fun!

Here we are on our most recent walk with Buddy and Scarlett practicing stops and gos.

Next up are two Bichon Frise boys, very playful, and should range from 12-16 lbs as adults.

These guys essentially look the same and they are both a bundle of white fluff.

These boys are currently seven weeks old and will be ready for their new homes next week.

Lastly, we have a four week old Cavachon male, sable and white.

If you know the back story of the dogs, you’ll know that it all started to pay for piano lessons for my children. Now that they’re all grown and out of the house, and since I’m no longer taking lessons at this time, and I’ve cut way back on the number of litters we are having each year, and since Scarlett’s is getting up there in age, it felt fitting to keep a puppy or two for ourselves.

When Missy had this litter with a solid gold (my favorite color) and solid black puppy (too gorgeous to let go), I couldn’t stop thinking about naming them Ebony and Ivory to honor the years of piano and the fulfillment of my dream to have the dogs pay for my children to have music lessons.

So in this litter, we are keeping the two solid girls, and little Beethoven (sable/white male) is looking for a forever home.

I’ve also decided to donate the sale of one puppy per litter to our local worthy student fund so kids can have access to private education.

Ebony will be known as “Bunny” and Ivory will be known as “Ivy”. Here’s a video I took yesterday of the litter.

In future news, both Lacey and Lizzy, two female Bichons that have never had puppies, tied with Duke, a proven black/tan Cavalier male at the beginning of September, so if they are pregnant, we will expect two new litters at the beginning of November with puppies ready to go home just after the new year.

That is our news! I hope everyone is doing well and let me know if you’re ready for a puppy. The waiting list has been very quiet recently so it’s basically first come first serve.

Last Puppy, A Surprise, and What’s Coming Next!

Hi Everyone!

We have enjoyed our two litters of puppies this summer. Of the nine, five have gone home, three more go home in the next two weeks, and we have one last boy available!

What a sweet boy he is, energetic, happy, a total lover, yet spunky too! He’s had two sets of shots, been wormed three times, and he’s ready to go anytime!

He’s got really vibrant blenheim color and he should be from 17-22 lbs as an adult. He loves belly rubs and snuggles! Please reach out via email or text if you’re interested in this boy!

Now, what is the surprise?? It’s a litter of purebred Bichon Frise puppies. There is one female and three boys. We plan to keep the girl and a boy, but we will be looking for homes for two of the boys. Let me know if you want a Bichon puppy! We don’t have the purebreds that often!

Finally, what’s coming up? We have Missy in the nursery, big and fat with puppies from Big Boy. We are crossing our fingers for a sable/white female as we know there’s at least one family that has been waiting for that combo for a while now. Truth is, we could get any of the eight Cavachon colors: blenheim, sable/white, black/white or tri color for the parti colors, and black, solid sable, black/tan, and golden for the solid colors. I can’t wait to see what comes out! She is due this month so puppies should be ready to go home in the beginning of October.

So that’s the recent news! Enjoy photos of the puppies that have gone home in July!

Mercedes’ Blenheim Female, owner flew to pick her up!
Mercedes’ Sable/White Male, owner flew in to pick him up!

Mercedes’ Golden Female, I flew to Sacramento to deliver (ask us about our puppy nanny service).
Mercedes’ Blenheim Female, drove to our home to choose her, then came back to pick her up when she was old enough!

I hope all the puppies are doing well! Thank you to all of you who became part of the Silver Paw family for the first time, or second or third time!!

WE HAVE PUPPIES!!

Whew!! It’s our first (and probably last) litter for 2024, and we were blessed with seven beautiful babies from Missy and Jack.

They will be ready my birthday weekend, November 14-17, and I am available to puppy nanny to southern California-Ontario Airport-Thursday evening, November 14th. Depending on my flight, I also may be able to do a quick delivery in Seattle.

We have two families that are definitely getting puppies from this litter. I know one is looking specifically at the sable/white female or the blenheim female, and the other family is still considering their options.

After they both choose, there are still five gorgeous puppies available! The colored stuffed bone indicates whether the puppy is a girl or a boy. We basically have one of each color/gender plus the sable/white little girlie.

I expect all of these puppies to be the average size of 15-20 lbs as adults. Their coats are very typical for the Cavachon- nice and wavy.

Please reach out if you’re interested in this litter. We do have a slumbering waiting list with quite a few people, but I need you to reach out to me in order to be considered for these puppies.

They are currently just over two weeks old which means they will be ready in about six weeks.

Please get in touch with us if you’re ready for a puppy. Pricing and purchase details will be sent via email.
