Joys of the Job

Hey Everyone!

Happy New Year!

The nice thing about dogs is that they have no idea that last year was a tough year. They live in the moment and don’t require too much to be happy!!

This next week the last Fergie pup, both Abbey pups, and most likely both Sophia pups (tiny blenheim female is pending) will be going to their new homes. This will wrap up our 2020 litters and we will move forward with the Mimi and Penny litters in the next couple weeks.

I just got off the phone with a buyer and I want to share a bit about the conversation. It had been a hard year. The family had been split and a sibling lost and the prospect of getting a puppy bleak since our waiting list was so long. But somehow the Fergie pups were matched to people in the #70-99 range on the waiting list and this family will welcome their new member next week!! The new owner was in tears telling me how happy she was to welcome a bundle of love into their battered home. This was really special to hear. I reminded her that the puppy would make her laugh, make her cry, and most likely make her mad too!! But I wanted to share this story because all of you touch my life in a special way. There are SO MANY stories like this where a puppy has brought therapy and healing into a home.

Thank you for all your support through the years (we started in 2003). It’s because of all of you that we can keep doing what we do!

I pray 2021 will be better for all of us, and even if it doesn’t get easier, at least you have (or will soon have) a furball of wet kisses to bring a smile to your day!!

Blessings to all of you!

Kristy 😊💕🐶

  3. I don’t know how I would have made it through the Stay at home orders in CA this year without my Gracie! She is the best, most loyal, sweet, smart, playful and challenging puppy ever! The timing couldn’t have been more perfect! Thanks for breeding such wonderful companions!!
