I love getting updates on the puppies. This guy just went home last week to Austin, TX. Sounds like he is settling in well!
Just thought I should update you on what’s going on with our puppy 🙂 we decided to name him milo and he’s happy, so playful, and very easy to train so far! He can sit on command already and he’s only pottied outside his pads 2 times; we gave him a bath on Thursday and he stayed very calm during it. The only issue so far is he whines a LOT during the night when we put him in his play pen/crate setup to sleep, which of course is normal for puppies. Anyways he’s going to get his 13 week shots next week! I’m excited to finally be able to walk and play with him outside 🙂
It’s been a busy day! I’ve updated all the new litters, taken pictures, uploaded videos, and posted them here on the blog.
This is the current Master Waiting List. This is the list I use when I order the names for puppy selection.
If you’re new to this website, WELCOME!
We’ve been breeding dogs since 2003 and Cavachons since 2006. In 2012 we decided to focus all our attention on Cavachons and we’ve never looked back. Occasionally we may have a Cavalier or Bichon litter, but most of our puppies are Cavachons.
Until recently, we’ve always done first generation Cavachons. We have loved the breed for all the reasons everyone else loves this breed and we plan to continue breeding first generation (F1) puppies.
We do own our own Cavachon, Scarlett. She has had a previous F1b litter (she was bred to a Bichon) and she currently has a litter of F2 puppies (she was bred to another Cavachon). This is our first F2 litter and the colors are spectacular! Both parents have great health so we expect the puppies to have the same.
We currently have 3 litters of puppies plus 2 older pups from Chantel and Justyne. We also have a pregnant female that should deliver in a week or so.
I have recent pictures of ALL the available puppies here on the website and I’m looking forward to working with everyone on the waiting list to find the right puppy for your families.
If you have sent a waiting list fee but don’t see your name, please let me know. I want to be sure I haven’t missed anyone.
Let me know if you have any questions!
All girls! It doesn’t happen often, but every once in a while we will have an all girl or all boy litter. Welcome Rocky’s girls to the world. They were born about a week ago and they are doing really well!
There are 2 golden girls and 2 sable/white girls.
Can’t wait to start adding names to this litter!
This is an exciting day! I’ve been waiting to see what this partnership would produce and I couldn’t be happier. Scarlett has 9 healthy, thriving puppies, and they are all gorgeous!!
Females: 3 Black/Tan, 1 Blenheim
Males: 3 Black/Tan, 1 Blenheim, 1 Tri
Here is a quick roll call video.
We already have a few people I retested in the black/tan girls. Every puppy is going to be fantastic!
We had puppies a few weeks ago and I’m overdue sharing them with all of you. They look like black licorice and they are just as sweet!
This is the little girl. She has a tiny white spot on her nose, and her boots are longer and much more stylish.
This is her brother. He is jet black with shorter, more practical boots.
Here is their litter page. We are ready to take names from anyone interested in these pups. They are currently 4 weeks old.
I have had some interest, but nothing is finalized yet. These are the two available boys.
Call me to talk about them. 509-936-2715
Solid sable male
They are both ready to go anytime.
Puppies from Pearlie and Chantel are going home. We are still looking for a home for the sable/white male from Chantel with the most white. I thought I had a family that wanted him but I have not heard from them so it’s time to look for another forever family.
I’m sorry I don’t have a current photo in this blog post but I wanted to get the word out ASAP because he can go home this week and he is ready for a forever family!!
Let me know if you’re interested. He is available to those on or off the waiting list. If you peek back a few weeks on Facebook at Chantel videos you will see him. I referred to him as the smallest of the three sable/white male puppies as well as the one with the most white. He is super happy and friendly and has amazing markings.
I have transportation already lined up for Dallas or Phoenix this Wednesday, or southern California next Monday. Looking forward to speaking with someone soon about him!!
This will be the first time we have 3 types of Cavachons available at the same time. I’ve had some questions regarding the distinction letters and numbers so I’ll explain a bit here.
F1 – this is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel bred to a Bichon Frise. This is a first generation puppy. Most of our litters are F1 litters. Sophia and Abbey have F1 puppies.
F1b – this is a Cavachon bred to a Bichon. This is what our Scarlett has produced in the past. Until this current litter, she was always bred to a Bichon male. These puppies can have a little tighter curl to their coat but not all end up like this. Their colors can be more muted or they can be vi rant just like the first generation. These puppies are essentially 3/4 Bichon and 1/4 Cavalier. Roxy was bred to Charlie our Cavachon male. This will be our first F1b litter with a Bichon as the mom.
F2 – this is a Cavachon bred to a Cavachon. These puppies are 1/2 Cavalier and 1/2 Bichon, but they are second generation puppies. Our current Scarlett x Charlie litter is an F2 litter. The colors are very vibrant and I’m so thrilled we got Black and Tan puppies because these have been very rare with the F1 breedings. Both Scarlett and Charlie are black/tan Cavachons and they produced some gorgeous colors!!
I hope that helps explain things!
I’ve been very quiet recently due to an emergency, but all is well and I’m back to communicate and let you know what to expect in the coming weeks and months.
The older litters are going home and I’ve almost got all the travel lined up for all those puppies.
Looking forward, we have lots of new puppies and I’d like to give you a list for those that are on the waiting list.
I’m simply going to list colors and genders right now and I will be doing pictures in the coming week or so.
Blenheim – 1 girl, 1 boy (Scarlett F2)
Solid Sable – 1 girl (Sophia F1)
Tri – 1 boy (Scarlett F2)
Black – 1 girl, 1 boy (Abbey F1)
Black & Tan – 3 girls, 3 boys (Scarlett F2)
And one pregnant mom that could throw any colors. (Roxy F1b)
Many people have emailed me about getting on the waiting list and today I think I finally responded to everyone. We have dark puppies right now and if you wanted black/tan, possibly the rarest color, we have an abundance from the Scarlett litter!
I’ll post pictures of the babies soon!
