Auto Accident

Hey Everyone!

I missed doing puppy selection yesterday for the Abbey litter because I was in an auto accident.

I’m ok, but I hit ice and ended up in the ditch. I was able to walk away with no scratches or bruises. I had the male Bichon pup with me, on my way to deliver him, and he’s ok as well. The front end of the car avoided a violent hit as you can see from the tire marks. It seems the back end was what really swung around.

When I got home I made a list of all the things I was grateful for as the Bible says to praise the Lord in all things.

*Thank you that there was no one who ran into me as I slid off the road

*Thank you that I was going decently slow when it happened

*Thank you that it’s an old icky car

*Thank you that I was able to walk away

*Thank you that the puppy is ok

*Thank you that my friend in the other accident is ok (there were 4 rollovers, within 30 minutes of each other, with a 1/8-1/4 mile stretch of road.

*Thank you my friend’s husband could give me a ride home

*Thank you that my husband wasn’t mad

*Thank you that my husband helps in these situations with the public (he’s a volunteer fire fighter and was on the scene very quickly)

So all this to say I’m taking a couple days to relax and will be in touch with those interested in the Abbey and Sophia puppies next week.

Bichon Frise Boy

Hi again!

One more post for today.

We have a male Bichon Frise that is looking for a forever home. He is ready now. He is currently 10 weeks old, is current with his worming schedule, and he got his second shot today.

He is a bundle of fun and I’m sure he will make someone very happy.

This photo was taken a little over a week ago but he’s still just as cute as ever!

Since he’s over 10 weeks old I may consider shipping him, but it will depend on the flight and the distance. I’d love if he can go home this week.

Please fill out this form if you are interested in this little boy. If you’re not on the waiting list, just leave that question blank.

I’ll reach out with an email with his price, size guesstimate, etc.

Abbey Litter Selection

Hi Everyone!

It’s time to start gathering names for the Abbey litter. These puppies will be ready for their new homes after January 5th.

Both of the puppies are blenheim girls and I expect them to be in the 16-22lb range. Mom Abbey is a 17 lb Bichon Frise and dad, Snoopy, is a 23lb tri Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

I’m going to attach a link below. This is how I’m planning to gather names for these puppies. This link will be live until noon on Friday, December 18.

At that time I will take all the names from all of you that are interested in these pups…all of you that filled out this form below, and I will put those names in waiting list order. Then, I will begin calling at one o’clock to match the Abbey pups to their forever homes. I will FaceTime with those that are able and/or send a video so you can see the puppies in action.

Since there are two pups, this will be done pretty quickly. Please be sure you’re available on Friday to talk on the phone or make prior arrangements with me.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Here is the link to the Google form. It asks basic questions that help me have all my information in one place on puppy matching day. If you are on our waiting list, you can fill out this form. Please double check your number since it asks for that information.

Sophia Litter Selection

Hi Everyone!

It’s time to start gathering names for the Sophia litter. I’m sorry to say that we just have two puppies now from her litter, but both are growing well and will be ready for their new homes after December 29th.

Both of the puppies are girls and I expect them to be in the 10-14 lb range for the blenheim and around 13-16 lbs for the golden girl. Mom Sophia is a 12 lb Bichon Frise and dad, Kingsley, is a 17lb black/tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

I’m going to attach a link below. This is how I’m planning to gather names for these puppies. This link will be live until noon on Friday, December 11.

At that time I will take all the names from all of you that are interested in these pups…all of you that filled out this form below, and I will put those names in waiting list order. Then, I will begin calling at one o’clock to match the Sophia pups to their forever homes. I will FaceTime with those that are able and/or send a video so you can see the puppies in action.

Since there are two pups, this will be done pretty quickly. Please be sure you’re available on Friday to talk on the phone or make prior arrangements with me.

I am not able to ship these two pups, first because they are going to be too small, and second, because they are ready during prime holiday travel time and there is an embargo on shipping puppies in cargo. You will need to fly here and travel with your puppy in the cabin of the plane or drive to pick her up.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Here is the link to the Google form. It asks basic questions that help me have all my information in one place on puppy matching day. If you are on our waiting list, you can fill out this form. Please double check your number since it asks for that information.

Rivers

Thank you everyone who emailed about Rivers. He is going home today to a family who has one of our dogs and who was also on our waiting list. I appreciate all the wonderful homes that were willing to open their doors for him.

Stay tuned! I plan to post the Sophia and Abbey puppies today and will be taking names for those two litters.

Available Puppy

Hi Everyone!

Who needs a second (or third) dog??

This is River. He is a solid sable male Cavachon and he is looking for a new home.

He is full of boundless energy, does not like to be alone, and he is full of plenty of puppy mischief. He needs a home with another dog because he doesn’t like to be alone. At all. We have been working with him, and he’s much better, but I will feel most comfortable if he goes to a home that already has a dog.

He’s very sweet, people oriented, and very playful. He’s been having a ball with Maisey, but he’s now 13 weeks and he needs to be in his forever home. He is also going to be in the 18-23 lb range as an adult.

Send an email if you’re interested. Tell me how you think he will fit in with your family and your other dog, and a little about your home life schedule. He’s not the dog you can leave at home and go to work all day. I don’t think he will like that scenario very much.

Looking forward to hearing from you! silverpawcavachons@gmail.com.

PS, shipping is maybe an option.

Kristy🐶😊💕

Trying Something New

Hi Everyone!

I have updated the waiting list in the sidebar of the website. Please check to make sure your name is there if you sent me the waiting list fee. There were about 25 new families added to the waiting list and we are back over 100 people on the list. This does NOT mean over 100 puppies will go home before you get a pup, it simply means there are that many people looking at getting a pup sometime in the near (or far) future. Once your name is on the waiting list, you are able to reach out with any litter born and let me know you could be interested in a puppy.

Right now I’m going to introduce a new way to do that.

This post is specifically for all the people already on the waiting list that are interested in Fergie’s litter. They are now 6 weeks old and I am late in getting puppy selection lined up. I’ve received quite a few emails from people indicating that they are interested in this litter, but I’d like to introduce a new method of gathering those names. If you sent me an email, I’d like you to also follow through with the instructions in this blog post.

I’ve set up a form that I’d like you to fill out. Please look on the blog and find your waiting list number as you will need that number as part of the information I’m asking for. Basically, this will create a spreadsheet for me and everything will be in one place. Currently, if I look at an email, and I’m not near my dog book, there is a chance I will forget to add the name later in the day. I’m trying to find a way to streamline things since I’m dealing with so many names on a regular basis.

Here is the link to the doc. Fergie Puppy Selection. It simply asks for your name, email, preferred phone number for me to call during puppy selection, city and state for possible transportation coordination, waiting list number, and to indicate your basic interest in each puppy. Select EVERY puppy that you could be interested in (most litters are not all the same color like this Fergie litter, so this puppy list will be more diverse with other litters). I will use this list when I begin making calls for puppy selection. (Let me know if it does not allow multiple answers for the puppy selection. I hope I set that up correctly. This is my first time setting up a Google form.)

Fergie’s litter will be ready November 22. They are all blenheim (apricot and white) in color, and there are 3 girls and 4 boys. I will do my best to get new video loaded to Facebook so you can see them in action. I will also plan to Facetime with those that are able so we can talk details while looking at the puppies. I’d like everyone to fill out this form by Tuesday, November 17th at 6p.m. and I will start making calls that evening and then continue on Wednesday after 3:30pm pacific time. The ideal time for these puppies to go home is November 22-29. After November 29, I will begin to charge a holding fee to keep them longer.

I’m looking forward to working with each of you to find just the right puppy for your family. Kristy

Photos of all the Puppies

Hi Everyone!

I’ve created a litter page for each of our current litters of brand new puppies.  They are on the sidebar of the blog.  You can simply click on the parent names and the link will take you to the page.  All of the babies are under 2 weeks old so we are just getting started with the next round of fun!  We are taking names from anyone already on the waiting list if you’re interested in any specific puppy.  We will match puppies when they are 5 weeks old and/or in the order of the waiting list.  I will do my best to update their photos/videos each week!  Enjoy!

Justyne Litter Puppy Selection

Hello Everyone on the Waiting List!

It’s time to begin puppy selection.  Right now we are showcasing the Justyne puppies.  They are 6 weeks old and will be ready to go to their new homes in 2 weeks.  I want to hear from everyone that is interested in this litter.  We have one family deciding between the sable/white male and the solid sable female and/or if they are even ready to get a puppy right now.  This means it’s possible that all 3 puppies could be available to those on the waiting list.  I’ll know by this evening and update the blog.

Head on over to our Facebook page to see the newest videos of these three puppies.

I’d love for everyone on the list to check in with me ASAP!  We will be showing the Pearlie puppies and the Allie puppies later this week as they are both turning 6 weeks old this week as well.  I want to line up where the puppies are going as soon as possible so we can start looking at travel plans and coordinating the departure of each of these litters.

Let me know if you have any questions.

For those not on the waiting list yet, send an email to silverpawcavachons@gmail.com to inquire about our puppies or to get on the waiting list.  It is a great time right now because we have enough puppies for everyone currently on the list plus a few more!
