More New Years Wishes

Look how pretty this solid sable girl is!

Hi Kristy,

We adopted Sadie in mid-June- a Rocky/Roxy pup. She arrived in San Jose at eight weeks and weighing a touch over four pounds.

Today she is eight and a half months, about 15 pounds, and is a joy! We adore her antics and especially how cuddly she is. She loves to take walks, play fetch, and snuggle up with us.

We couldn’t ask for a sweeter dog. One of our daughters is asking for a second Cavashon already!

Take care,

The S family

Happy New Year!!

What a great way to start the new year with some great feedback from one of our families!  Thank you for sharing your “kids” with all of us!

Kristy,

Hello from Ellie and Gracie! In June we adopted two darling pups from Sonny and Sadie’s litter. We had them flown to Chicago. We are sending you a recent picture of our sweet girls. Gracie is the little one. You were right..she is very small about 10 pounds. Ellie is twice her size. They are great friends and play with each other constantly. They are completely trained and so very lovable. They bring much joy into our home. I know you find homes for many pups, but we thought you might like to hear about two that are living together. We still think that it was such a lucky day when we came upon your website and found our puppies. Happy New Year to all!

Available Cavalier

This is “Tippy”.  She is a Black & Tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel “teenager” puppy!

She was born May 27, 2015, so she is 6 months old.  She is a very small Cavalier and will be around 12 lbs as an adult.

She is very friendly, walks pretty well on a leash, and loves to be close to you!  She is going to be a delightful little pet. She is crate trained and current on all her shots.

Her price is $1250.

You can’t see it in any of these photos, but she has a white front right paw. Just the tip is white, so we called her Tippy!

Please send an email to silverpawcavachons@gmail.com if you are interested in a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy.

Big Fat Update

Things have been moving along and it’s time to show and tell what we have right now!

First, all the available girls have been matched to their families.

We do still have some male pups, four to be exact, and they are available to any families as we have worked our way down to the bottom of the waiting list.

Here is our updated list.

Here are the available litters, and the matched puppies as well as the four male puppies that are still looking for homes.

The Abbey blenheim male can be a Christmas puppy as he can leave anytime now.

The Roxy boys are young still, but can go home in January. There is a blenheim, gold, and red pup still available from the Roxy litter. They are all boys.

There are videos of all of these puppies in our FB group.

We are not beginning puppy selection with the new Jazzy litter yet. She had 2 babies this week, a sable/white female and a golden male.

We also have an 8 week old Bichon Frise male that is looking for a forever family. He is also in a video on our FB page.

Those that are still on the waiting list, if you are interested in any of these male Cavachon puppies, please just let us know.

The selection process always takes longer than expected, bit I’m happy to say we are caught up for now!

If you’re interested in our puppies, please send an email to silverpawcavachons@gmail.com.

Thank you and Happy Holodays!

This Happened Today…

The due date was December 11th. Dogs are pretty good at delivering very close to their due dates!

I love the prep part of keeping everything organized.

Jazzy gets to be added to the bottom lines of my planner, where I keep track of all the current litters and their ages.

(And the Christmas countdown)

Deep into January we could see 2 more litters born, simply based on previous heat cycles, but nothing looks pregnant yet, so we will just wait and see!

Paperwork

Justyne’s pups are all matched to families.

Abbey’s pups are almost all matched to families.

Jesse has an available sable/white male.

Roxy’s pups are all unmatched, but we are working with the waiting list still on all of our litters.

If there are any pups still available after we’ve exhausted our waiting list, we will definitely post it here!

I will also add that we have 2 Bichon Frise males available to anyone who is interested.

We have 2 Cavalier teenager puppies that are available to anyone who is interested.

I know everyone is waiting for pictures of the Jesse and Roxy pups. I promise it will happen, but not till next week. Right now all of my doggie time is spent doing the basic daily cleaning, food, water, worming, shots, and paperwork to keep everything straight and all the details written down.

Tonight I’m working on shot records and recording all the shots and worming that has happened in the last few weeks.

I’m also coordinating puppy flights and communicating last details to the families that are getting Abbey and Justyne  puppies.

It’s a lot to do!!

Very soon I will be able to move my attention to the Jesse & Roxy litters, and I will be in touch with those deeper on the waiting list to talk about puppy details with these two litters.

Jazzy is due December 12th, so we should have a brand new Cavachon litter soon. She’s not huge, so I’m guessing 3, maybe 4 puppies.

Thanks again for all of your support and for giving our puppies such amazing and loving homes!

Puppy Transportation

Hi Everyone!

I will post a Waiting List update very soon, but first I want to shout out to all of you getting an Abbey or Justyne pup!  I’d like to talk with you on the phone tomorrow morning to finalize transportation details. I plan to call between 9am-12noon. If there is a specific time during those hours that is best for you, please let me know and I’ll schedule you in. I’ve already spoken with a couple of you and said I would call tomorrow.

I know there are a couple families in the Bay Area so I’d like to explore shipping 2 pups to the same airport if possible!

Looking forward to talking with you tomorrow!

Kristy 🙂

If You Are New

I’ve been posting a lot today on both this blog and my Facebook page. It has generated a lot of interest both from those on the waiting list, and from new people.

If you are new, there is a very tiny chance that maybe one of these puppies could be available, but the chance is small, and even smaller for a female.

If you are interested in a Silver Paw Cavachon, the best way to get one is to get on our waiting list. Send an email for info on the process.

We will have more puppies in the spring and next summer!

Putting the Puzzle Together

Puppy selection is fun, hard, agonizing, frustrating, exciting, too slow, too fast, disappointing, heart melting, and absolutely fulfilling, not to mention all the emotions you all are feeling!!

I just sent this email. It’s a perfect example of the jumbled mess of puzzle pieces this process is, while in the midst of it.

Do not despair, the puzzles do get completed, and the end result is always happy and joyful.

Enjoy a look into my side of the process!!

Vivian wants the sable/white with more color from the Jesse litter. Linda wants that one too, so might end up passing on Abbey’s s/w to wait for one with a more symmetrical face in a future litter. She will tell me today. Kristen is for sure taking one of Justyne’s blenheim girls. Stephanie wanted a golden girl?? Daniella has been matched to the black girl. Jacqueline liked the mis marked female from Jesse’s litter. Erin is still thinking, but likes the Jesse girls. I think there will still be at least 1 female when we get to your name, possibly a golden one? This part of the process gets really complex until the puzzle pieces fit into place.

That’s the best I can tell you right now!!”
