The weather is incredible and I’m just hanging out with the puppies. We are in the middle of puppy selection so I thought I’d share a few details. 

This is the most current version of our waiting list. If there is a check mark through the circle, that family has been matched to a puppy. 

We have matched 4 pups from our first two litters. 

Paisley litter rom L to R – blenheim female available, black/tan female available, golden male with white blaze matched, golden male available. 

Chantel litter from L to R – golden female matched, blenheim female looking away matched, blenheim female looking forward available, sable/white female matched. 

For those interested, we weighed the pups today at 5 weeks old. The rule of thumb is that you can quadruple the 8 week old weight to get a guesstimate of the adult weight. These pups should range from 12-16 lbs as adults. 

They will be ready to go home June 16-22 and after that there will be a charge of $100/week that they are here.

Thank you to everyone that was interested in Gracie. One of our families on the Waiting List stepped forward and decided to give Gracie a home. She will be with her forever family tomorrow. 

She has been great fun helping me in the greenhouse and I know she is going to be very loved in her new home. 

As for future puppies, we currently have 14 puppies that will be ready to go home in June and July. We are matching them first to those on the waiting list. 

If you’ve contacted me about getting on the list and I haven’t responded, please try again. I prefer email whenever possible.

From L to R…super light gold male, solid sable male, sable/white male, super light gold male, black/white female. None of these pups have been matched yet. 

Of the previous litters, the following puppies have been matched:

Large gold male-Diana

Sable/White female-Tasha

Blenheim female-Most likely one will go to Joy

Black/Tan female-pending to Deb

We will confirm the “maybe’s” in a week and move down the list again. People need to book flights, so we will need to nail things down very soon. 

Meet Gracie. She is a 13 week old female Cavachon ready for her new home. Her original family took her home when she was 10 weeks old but they were unable to keep her.  She is a rambunctious, curious, and super happy puppy ready for an active lifestyle with an active family. 

She is crate trained, walks well on the leash, does stairs, and loves everyone. She has been introduced to children at my school and she is always ready to play or cuddle. She’s current on shots and worming and ready to go home anytime.

Dooman, the Colorado puppy, now lives in Rhode Island. They are loving him and he is settling in well. 

The blenheim from the Paige litter found a home in Chicago. He’s also settling in well.  He was so cute for his final photo!

The last Paige pup went home last night, and yesterday BOTH of our pregnant moms in the nursery had their puppies. 

These babies will go home in mid June (June 16th).  I need to hear from everyone on the waiting list to know if this timeframe works into your timeline. That is the first decision. We can discuss color and gender later. 

I’ve heard from a few families via FB that they are ok with this timing. Hoping to hear from everyone else as well.

This little guy is still looking for his forever home. His price is $1600 and if he needs to be shipped, shipping is $425. Some of you have contacted me via a comment left on the last blog post. I will not respond to those. You MUST send me an email. Thanks again for your interest. He is an amazing puppy. He’s in the house with us and using his potty pad like a champ. He is going to be an amazing dog. 

Hey Everyone!

This is the last pup from the Paige litter and he is looking for his forever home. Everyone on the waiting list is waiting for a different color or they’re wanting a girl, so he is available to anyone that is interested. 

He is 9 weeks old and ready to go this Friday. Since this is short notice, we are willing to ship him to cut down costs of buying a last minute plane ticket. 

He is very playful and happy. He’s eager to explore and then ready to snuggle when he’s tuckered out. He should grow to be from 15-20 lbs as an adult. He has soft apricot coloring on his ears and a bit on his back. He has a nice wavy and thick coat and will be a typical shaggy looking Cavachon.

I am overwhelmed with gratefulness towards all of you that have reached out about Dooman. We are working with a family at this time but I will definitely respond to more people that have emailed if anything changes.   Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Dooman is in good hands now and he should be heading to his new home very soon. 

This is Dooman. He is an accelerated male Cavachon puppy that just flew to Denver last Friday. His family is not able to keep him and we are looking to place him in a new home. 

We would love to find a local family that can drive to get him, but we will fly him again if we have to. 

He is very loving and friendly. He likes to snuggle and he loves to play!   He is 14 weeks old and current on his shots. We are selling him for a little less than his original accelerated puppy price. He is going to be an amazing pet for someone.

Hey Everyone!

I hope you’re having a wonderful holiday season. I have some updates I’d like to share so you know what has been happening here at Silver Paw Cavachons and what you can expect in the coming weeks/months. 

First on my list is…I had surgery last Thursday and am recovering very well. I want to apologize for my slowness in responding to emails and questions and my lack of getting photos posted of the puppies. Thankfully, during the busy Christmas time of year at school and with the upcoming surgery, we only had 2 puppies from Tippy’s litter and they both went to their forever homes yesterday. 

Last week Justyne delivered 4 beautiful puppies and I’ve reached out to the top few people on the waiting list to see if there is any interest. Here they are. They are growing so fat and doing very well!

We also have another pregnant mom due any day. From the look of her belly, I’m guessing she has 4-5 puppies. The dad is a tri color male, so we won’t have any solid colored pups in the litter, but we could get sable/white, black/white, blenheim, or the elusive tri colored pups from this pairing.  Remember that puppies are 8 weeks old when they go home and we are not doing accelerated puppies during the school year unless you have made prior arrangements with us. 

And finally, please take a look at this waiting list. The names crossed off either changed their minds and pulled off the list, or they got a recent puppy.  If you didn’t receive an email from me today, please reach out to me at silverpawcavachons@gmail.com and let me know details about your timeline and the preferences you may have about the upcoming puppies. I plan to rewrite this waiting list for a real update once I hear back from more of you.
