This is the house we’re hoping to buy.
Its very charming, and it’s green! I grew up in a green house!
There is a large barn and a chicken shed. The barn has a basket ball court in it, a wood shop, a large storage/tack room, and 1200 sq ft of just space in the lean to section!
This is the cute little chicken shed. It is well built with perches and a nesting box for the hens. You can collect eggs without going into the chicken’s space, which is nice because chickens are messy!
Machine shed. Eye sore of the property. If we have our way, this will be removed and a charming horse barn, like the one Daryl built at our current house, will rest in this space.
Laundry room with 1/2 bath. It will be very nice to have 3 toilets!!
Pantry storage in the laundry room. So nice as its right off the kitchen. I won’t have to go downstairs to see what I have for dinner!
Girl’s room. Will need to be painted as Kaelyn is not a pink girl, but it will be her own room, and after sharing a room with 2 brothers for the past 5 years, this is a true NEED for a girl turning 16 soon!
All the bedrooms in this home have vaulted ceilings, and the kids’ rooms have glass closet mirrors.
Boy’s room. All the closets also have built in closet organizers.
So much sunshine in this home. I love it!
Game closet at the end of the hall between the kids rooms.
MUD ROOM!!!! Impossible to live in a cold climate without this. Don’t know how we have done it all this time.
Hallway from kitchen to mud room, laundry room, and kids rooms.
Kitchen/Dining
Kitchen- IT HAS A DISHWASHER!! This is the most missed item from my CA home to the home we live in now. Can’t it to have this feature back!
Kitchen. Not huge, but way bigger than what I have now.
The place where good food will be made, rolled out, mixed, etc…!
Dining area in kitchen. Love all the windows!
View into formal dining area and kids/guest bath.
View from office into living room area. Door to basement.
Office, right off kitchen. Very convenient for many reasons!
Office
Office
Kids/guest bath. The bathrooms in this house are not exciting, but they are functional. None of us spend much time primping anyway!
Guest bath and office, which will have a leather couch with hide a bed! We want visitors!
Living room area.
Living, formal dining area. Stereo system controls surround sound in the living room. Movie nights will happen!!
Living room, high ceilings, love it!
More living room. French doors, French windows! Ahhh!
Front door which nobody will ever use. But the entry tile is pretty!
More living room’ high ceilings, and basement door.
Formal dining area.
Wood stairs to master suite upstairs.
Love all the white molding and color on the walls!
Master bedroom.
Master bath. Again, very basic.
Basement storage. Can’t it to have a space for Christmas stuff, bulk food and household items, suitcases, sleeping bags, vacuum, massive packages of paper towels and toilet paper from Costco, extra chairs from dining table, sewing stuff, craft stuff, and hopefully some extra beds for overflow sleeping! And canning jars and supplies.
Darien wants this side of the basement for his bedroom/man cave. I said I’d think about it when he was in college!
Mud room. Shelves for boots, coat rack for coats, and our red bench will go in here for putting on shoes and taking them off.
More mud room. I’m obsessed with this space! Shoe cubbies, lots of sunlight! Love all the windows in this cheerful home!
Driveway
Outside view again. There is a large fenced back yard as well. Nice space for the dogs to run free!
Property has some trees, but it’s not thickly wooded. It’s a pleasing location, close to the places that we need to be close to, school, church, Pathfinders, airport, and summer work in Seattle. Say a prayer that financing will go through and we’ll get this home! I’m completely emotionally invested, past the point of no return!
Wow, very exciting! Thanks for sharing all the pics; looks beautiful and I love the huge lot! I hope it all goes through smoothly : )
