Accelerated Puppy Pricing

Each Accelerated Puppy is priced according to the different requirements of each family.  Generally, the longer we keep a puppy, the higher the price will be.  The following is a breakdown of pricing in 4 different areas.

1.  Base Price
2.  Training (Phase 1 or Phase 2)
3.  Vet Expenses
4.  Shipping/Delivery

I will describe each area and the associated costs involved.

1.  Base Price – Each puppy will have a base price.  This is what the puppy would cost if you brought it home between 8-10 weeks of age.  This is where the pricing begins on the Accelerated Puppy.

2.  Training – Because each family has different needs, the length of time that we keep a puppy will vary for each family.  There are 2 different milestones that generally mark the timing when families would like their puppies to come home.  While these are common choices, a puppy can go home at any time during the Accelerated Program.

The first milestone is at 13 weeks, which we call “Phase 1“.  This is a puppy that has received 3 sets of shots (so safe to take on walks and in public areas), knows how to walk on a leash, and feels comfortable in the crate for short periods of time.

The second milestone is when the puppy is spayed or neutered, which we call “Phase 2“.  This generally happens sometime between 5-6 months of age.  The goal for this puppy, in addition to the skills it learns through Phase 1, is to sleep in the crate at night without accidents, and alert us to be let out to potty when crated.

The basic cost for the training is $100 per week.  If we keep a puppy through Phase 1, there would be a $300 training fee added to the Base Price.  If we keep a puppy through Phase 2, there would be an additional $1000-$1200 fee.

We will work with you to determine the length of time you would like us to keep your puppy, and the training fee will reflect the number of weeks that your puppy is in our Accelerated Program.

3.  Vet Expenses – If we keep your puppy through Phase 2, there will be a $175 fee for neutering, and a $200 fee for spaying.  The 1 year Rabies shot is also included in this fee.

4.  Shipping/Delivery – This varies widely for each family according to how far you live from Silver Paw Kennels.  I will discuss the shipping/delivery fees with each family individually.  As a general rule, puppies that are shipped out of Spokane require an additional $350 fee, puppies that are shipped out of Seattle require an additional $425 fee.  This includes the puppy’s plane ticket, crate, bed, Health Certificate, Rabies shot (if a Phase 1 puppy), and our travel expenses, and/or hotel fees.  Again, the details on shipping/delivery will be worked out with each family individually.

Let’s look now at a Tri Cavachon Female as a “Phase 1″ puppy:

Phase 1 Puppy – Tri Cavachon Female

Base Price = $1250
Training 5 weeks = $300 (1st 2 weeks FREE)
Vet Expenses = $0 (Phase 1 too young for spay/neuter)
Puppy Shipping out of Spokane = $350

Total Price $1900

Let’s look at the same Tri Female Cavachon, as a “Phase 2″ Puppy:

Phase 2 Puppy – Tri Cavachon Female

Base Price = $1250
Training 12 weeks = $1000 (1st 2 weeks FREE)
Vet Expenses = $200
Puppy Shipping out of Spokane = $350

Total Price = $2800

While these are fairly accurate examples, these prices are not set in stone, due to the shipping/delivery variables, but it does give you a ballpark figure.
