I’m sorry, but we will not be accelerating any puppies during the summer months.
WHAT IS AN ACCELERATED PUPPY?
In our years of breeding dogs, we have often been asked if we could keep a puppy a “little longer” to get it started on potty training, or if we have older puppies that have already been spayed or neutered. We have also received requests for crate trained dogs, as many people don’t have the time or energy to guide a puppy through the intense weeks/months of potty training. To better meet these needs, we would like to introduce the Silver Paw Kennels Accelerated Puppy.
The Phase 1 Accelerated Puppy is at least 13 weeks of age, had received 3 sets of basic puppy shots, can walk on the leash, and has been introduced to the crate.
The Phase 2 Accelerated Puppy comes to you mostly past the puppy stage, and moving into the teenage/adult stage. It has accomplished Phase 1, is at least 5 months of age, has been spayed/neutered, can sleep through the night in the crate, and has a very good start on potty training using the crate training method. This is a puppy designed for a working family, or for someone who simply wants a puppy that already knows some of the basics.
WE AIM TO REACH THE FOLLOWING GOALS WITH YOUR ACCELERATED PUPPY:
*The puppy can sleep through the night in the crate (Phase 2 and some Phase 1 puppies)
*The puppy will happily walk on a leash
*The puppy can go up and down stairs without fear
*The puppy can ride in the car without getting carsick
*The puppy is current on all shots, including the Rabies shot (Rabies for some older Phase 1 pups)
*The Puppy has been Spayed or Neutered (Phase 2 only)
*The Puppy uses the UGODOG litterbox with good consistency (this varies widely with each individual puppy)
IF YOU PURCHASE AN ACCELERATED PUPPY, YOU WILL ALSO GET SOME/ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS AS PART OF THE PURCHASE PRICE, DEPENDING ON WHAT TRAINING WE HAVE DONE WITH THE PUPPY:
*High Quality Crate for the Adult Size of the Puppy
*White Fleece Bedding to fit the crate
*Lupine Collar & Lead in your pattern of choice
*Puppy Kong or Ball for continued chew toy training
*Bully Stick to encourage healthy chewing habits
The puppies that we choose for the Accelerated Puppy Program are either our own puppies, or we work with a couple hand selected breeders that we trust, if we want a different breed that we do not produce ourselves. If you are wanting a specific breed to be part of the program, just let us know and we will work with you to find your dream puppy to add to our Accelerated Program!
